Need your input on price of new 2018

I went double cab. This was with a 2018 Tacoma trade in too. They are literally giving these tundras away. My monthly payments went down by 20$ a month

 

I think I'm going to go hard at the dealer and tell them I want the cav blue crew max OR for 37.5. He just offered me 38,187 with a bedliner

 

O might settle at 37.8 with a trifold tonneau cover

 

Do it via email and tell them you have another offer that is close to that and that you are giving them a chance to beat the offer.

 

I did tell them because I do have an offer and it is 38.3 with bedliner on a white

 

Push for 37.5. You will get it. Just got same truck in silver sky for 37.

If they know then just wait. The less excited you seem the more desperate they become. They want to move a truck and are having a hard time lately with tundras. You'll get what you want. Picking up my 2018 MGM sr5 DC tomorrow! Traded in my 2018 Tacoma TRD offroad with 5000km and i got a lower monthly payment lol!

Full size truck market is flat right now. I’m sure there are a handful of dealers in your area. Go to a couple of them and see what they will do. You can always walk away. They hate when you leave. It gives you time to think and question the deal.

 

I do not have any dealers near me. I live quite remote but no biggie

 

Same here but I contacted one other one just for good measure and used them to get the deal I wanted from the dealer close to me.

 

I’m assuming this is a non SR5 and non convenience package?

Yea, i have the dealer down to 38.1 on an OR crew max, which is the sr5 upgrade package. after even further research i am confident i can get them to 37 something

 

That’s nuts man good for you. I hate reading these threads lol. Thought I got a decent deal. I guess not. But oh well I’m happy with the truck and dropped a ton on mods so what the hell

what did you get them to before OTD on what exactly? As stated earlier in the thread i have not finalized any deals. with teh 2500 toyota cash back they are at 15.96% off msrp, BUT without the 2500 off that means the dealer is only taking 10.5 off MSRP which is not great. Toyota is kicking in the 2500 off and that money does NOT come out of the dealers pockets!

 

Basically you are $600 away from the price you want,is that correct?
