Need help with LCA strategy

I just did this job a week or so ago. You have 2 the cam assemblies, but there is a front and back piece, and two on each side. I would also recommend new bolts why you're at it. Be careful though because there are two types of bolts. One is longer than the other. I was able to re-use my bolts when I did it otherwise I would have been screwed.

 

Dont forget there are 2 spots on each axis to align things, get things closer to where you want them (depending on a high-caster uca) before paying a toe&go alignment shop for a sheet of paper. I hit mine better than the laser table with a tpe measure (they just adjusted my steering wheel a hair crooked, that i had to fix myself). Kinda wanna raise my clips up a notch before my warranty runs out, but if they eff up my measurements i’m gonna be mad.

 

Yes, two of each cam assembly. #34020 is the front sleeve, and #34030 is the rear sleeve. I'm expecting to be able to re-use the the bolt and cam washer, but the sleeves I'm sure are seized and will need cutting out.

 

You're assuming the bolt won't be frozen into the sleeve, and will actually come out.

That may prove to be a bold assumption, since they're known to eventually rust into the sleeve.
