Stumbled across this one and saw the discussion about the inclusion or lack of locking lugs and the ball mount. Popped onto the Toyota build and price, and this is the first few items under accessories. Both are available, neither is standard in the states. If the truck came with it here, then you paid for it. Canadian trucks all seem to come with things that ours don't, so it's not a big surprise to see these two making that list as well.

Nope not a bit. It was pushed way back up under the seat braces, I’d like to do the plastic ESP storage eventually.

I think that's a common mistake. I got a 3 inch drop with no lift, stock ride. my utility trailer is pretty level when hooked up.

You telling me there's a box under my back seat that I haven't seen?? It must be stuck up under there like a muther because I've stowed the seats many times and never noticed. Will look at lunch. Knowing the dealer I got it from they take it out and resell.

It should be pretty obvious. We always left them on the floor behind the front seat.

How many guys got the rubber hitch plug? It's also an item that is included with the truck and the tech is required to installed in the hitch.

I got mine. Can't remember if it was installed or if I put it in myself. I'm not sure the value of it though as gravel still makes its way into the receiver and then the plug holds it there.

Are the bed cleats standard or an add on?

Nope - they sell them at the parts counter though. ;)
The sliding cleats on the bed rails is an option. Mine were still in the packaging inside the truck.

Negative, I had an '18 SR5 and now '20 Limited, different dealers. Didn't get that. Did get the cleats.

Wow, the US dealers might be stealing all the standard equipment from the factory and selling it in the parts department. :spy:

The Canadian Tundra gets as standard the ball mount, two sets of floor mats, receiver plug, locking wheel nuts, bed cleats and mud flaps. All these items are in the truck from the factory and are fitted during the PDI.

Buddy at work has a '98 taco, he's second owner. We were just discussing this. He said he found a factory bag with wheel nut lock, receiver plug ball mount still sealed up. I'm going diving in the back seat in a minute.

Same. I got cleats but also have the rails. No ball mount or wheel locks. I have the 1794 so their mats came standard but I bought aftermarket anyway. No hitch plug. I bet it is itemized anyway and you are charged for the items where it does come with the truck. I picked up black lug nuts and locks from Roman anyway.

Same here, no lost goodie box. No doubt dealer pulled it out and put it in stock at the service desk.

Just because it is standard at Canada Dealers doesn't mean it is in the States. Look at the US Toyota website. These are all added cost options. The dealership isn't stealing anything and putting it in their parts department.
