I've noticed a few people really looking and have received a few compliments on it. I really like it and that's all that matters. Usually, it's my kids or wife that point out someone really staring at it. I'm guilty of rubber necking on other Toyotas, trucks, and old cars.

If you really want to get stared at, pointed at, pictures taken, etc., install a snorkel. Both my 4runners have one and they draw an insane amount of attention around here.

No, that's the whitetail deer processor. Back in 2013 I had a FJ Cruiser and hit a deer at around 75mph on the interstate. $21,900 in damages and over a month later it was back on the road. I swore then and there every truck I owned from then on would have a steel front bumper.

Pretty sure if I harvest a deer using the automotive method it'll be ground venison this time.

I became a staff member long after my Tundra was sold. Sorry to ruin your day. :D I even heard a loud “finally” before you typed the question.

When I took my 90 year old mother to Ralphs to buy her groceries, a week after getting my truck, I heard "Nice truck!" when I got out of it in the parking lot. I looked around and saw a guy who had just got out of his Tundra (Superwhite too!) giving me the thumbs up. Other than that, it's just the Fix Or Repair Daily guys, probably wondering what made them buy such ugly trucks. Sometimes I open the moon roof and wave out of it, being all friendly and all.
    Gotta be the chrome...:anonymous:
