Received a letter today about recall on the Ironman 4x4 Pro Forge UCA's for potential ball joint failure, they're sending a new set and reimbursing the install and alignment costs. I have not had any issues with these UCA's, I'll give Ironman 4x4 a  for taking care of the issue though.

I just read through your build, and it is definitely one of my favorites! Solid job!

That's awesome to hear! I had heard/read about people having very opposite experiences with their customer service, so that's good that they're making it right.

Lockers for sure. If you're already cracking open the diffs don't give yourself any reason to do it again

Picked up a set of Solid Offroad motor mounts from another member, these should stiffen up the front end of the truck. I'm amazed at the amount of flex in the front frame rails.

Hopefully the front locker will arrive before the end of the month, the plan is to pull the diffs and haul them to Zuk in Prescott AZ in early November.

Have both lockers now, just waiting till next month to pull everything and head to AZ for the install. I also received shipping confirmation for the replacement Ironman 4x4 UCA's they should be here Friday. I have some serious garage time coming up in the near future, really looking forward to it.

Turned cold the last few days, picked up a load of wood for my mom I'm amazed at how small the load looked in truck versus stacked at the house.

Pulled the diffs today, started at 8 this morning and finished up around 3:30 this afternoon.

Notching the brake line tabs makes it all work and having a jack stand collection helps.

Some axle cheese, it's only on the drivers side closest to the diff vent.

This is the heaviest toy third I've ever had to deal with it will be even heavier going back in once the elocker and 5.29's are added, I'll be phoning a friend for some help installing this thing.

I didn't take many pics pulling the front diff out until I got to this point...no wheel drive.

Ready to make the trip to AZ with a pile of parts.

Calling it a day, time for a shower then pizza and beer.

Zuk started on the rear diff this afternoon, I'm fascinated with all the information and photos he shares and spend a lot of time studying them. The statements in quotation marks is what he sent with the photos.

"Checking the factory pattern, which was fine. I can tell by the bias that it is a two cut pattern which is very common in the auto industry"

"145 ft lb with generous amounts of red loctite on clean threads on all 12 bolts"

"The pinion flange is in excellent condition....barely a little groove and finish sanded with 2000 grit wet and dry as insurance"

"The 10.5 comes from the factory with a short solid collar which is nice that they do that.... The pinion bearings look perfectly fine"

He was surprised when I told him there is 102K on the truck with the condition of everything he thought it would be less miles. I'll keep updating as the photos and info roll in and I have time to post.

Solid build man! Truck is awesome and with those gears and lockers will be a beast! I've got to get to working on that for my truck.

Are you going to reuse the existing axle seals?

Yes, I've never had any issues doing it this way on several trucks and Land Cruisers. I see you're running a Harrop how do you like it?

Ok cool. I’m thinking about regearing and going the East Coast Gear mail out route, with self install.

To be honest, I want to be faster for $12k spent on a Supercharger with smaller pulley, etc. But my truck at 6400 pounds, it would need around 700hp to really scoot.

Ordered gears directly from Revolution and added the REM polish (you have to call to add it) It looks like they have a Black Friday sale currently. https://www.revolutiongear.com/products/fitment/2019-Toyota-Tundra-any

For the install, you would most likely need to work with an installer directly. Prices seem to be all over the place, I have used ECGS in the past and purchased entire built thirds 4.88's and ARB's for the Tacoma when I lived in Alaska. I'm using Gearinstalls.com "Zuk" who is retired and no longer does mail in service. He built my thirds when I lived in Idaho for the FJ80 Land Cruiser that had factory elockers and got 5.29's. He's close enough to me now and still does drop offs, so I had a buddy drop off my thirds and I'll drive over and pick them up after Thanksgiving. Roughly I'm at 2500$ with gears and install not including the lockers and my time, a place in ABQ quoted me 7500$ to do everything (Nitro gears and rear Nitro LSD) which sealed the deal for going the route I did.

A local Toyota master who owns his own shop did my F&R install for around $1300. I provided everything. That was the cheapest around my area. The others quoted in the $2k range.

The 1993 FJ80 on 37's with 5.29's, elockers and Slinky suspension, I probably should have kept this one too but I didn't.
