Hey not to jack your thread,

But how do the n fab steps mount up? Do they bolt to the frame or to the rocker like my chrome nerf bars

I assume to the rocker, but I don't know that for a fact. Hard to imagine they'd bolt to the frame.

Got the Iron Cross Patriots delivered today and just finished putting them on. I didn't clean them up, they've got some dust on them from the factory. Anyway, pictures as promised. :)

I just mounted N Fab 6 step bars on my truck. 6 bolts per side into the rocker. 15 minute job

That's exactly what I've been looking for. I owe you a beer. Most of the bars I've looked at are not very stout or lower clearance. These look great. Should I be looking at anything else?

I have the nfab on both my trucks and would not buy them again. The little of road I do the do get snagged on rocks. I did not but them for off roading. Bought them for access into the boxes on my truck and for the ladder rack. Also they are already rusting. They have only been on for 2 years on my DC and 1 year on my single cab

These N-Fabs were on the truck when I bought it. But they fit my 2016 Crew Max perfect.

I had the N fab Nerf bars on my 4runner and while they looked ok the powdercoating on them was terrible. They peeled, chip and were rusting in the span of 2 years. Will never buy them again.

I have to agree. With my lift and rocks bouncing off the Nerf Bars, my backup plan was to do a bedliner spray on them when they get bad.

This is my truck. I had installed the Durasteps, and because they hung so low, I decided to remove and return. I replaced them with NFab nerf style steps. If I had it to do over again, I would go with Rhino RB20 Raptor style.
