I think it means that because your truck probably has added options, in your case 61lbs worth of options, that it essentially reduces your trucks towing/carrying capacity by that many pounds. When they test the trucks they rate them at what the capacity your truck is safely supposed to tow are haul things at. Because that may have been with a truck without a bedliner, or without a deckrail, 20" wheels on a platinum, etc, that could make up the difference in weight they are referring to. At least that's my understanding of it, someone can chime in if I'm wrong.

On mine as well. I was advised that it has something to do with a recall about 7 months ago in which Toyota supposedly did not calculate the numbers right for weight or towing capacity. At least that’s what my dealer said....

Mine was reduced by 6 pounds. So I switched from shoes to flip flops when I drive, and took out the rear head restraints. I'm at +3 now.

I’ve got a similar sticker. They said it was due to adding the TSS off-road package. 20” wheels vs the factory setup. Don’t know if that’s real or made up.

My sticker doesn’t have any numbers. It just says “no fat girls” in bold letters.

I have one of those stickers. I always just figured it was from when they added steps or the trailer hitch receiver.
