Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
So before leaving to work today I could not find my wallet. Well I ended up figuring that I left it at the gas pump at the 7-11 down the street. So I rushed down there to look for it.

As soon as I get there, my family calls and says that they have located the wallet. I turn around and am heading home.

This is where the fun starts!

After making a left turn to go down 1/4 block to make a right turn into my street, some guy in a red Chevy cobalt blows through the stop sign right in front of me. Well I decide to get close behind him, in hopes my dash camera will catch his license plate (no luck there, the sun was causing a glare in the windshield).

When I am just a little ways away from my house, they car in front of me sideswipes my neighbors car, breaking his mirror off.

Well, the "nosy neighbor", we all have one, thought that it looked like I knocked the mirror off.

I proceed to go inside my house to clip the video so that it only includes that 1 minute.

I then burn it onto a disk and give it to my family, so they can give it to neighbor, whose car got hit, when he is home.

Well, apparently the "nosy neighbor" has his number because why not.

So, when the family goes down to bring the video to them, they say that they have already called the cops and that we are not going to lie to them. LOL

So I am at work right now and my family is stuck with that mess. Luckily I have irrefutable evidence proving it is was not me.

Now I am worried about my Tundra getting vandalized by one of my neighbors because that is the kind of neighbors I have. Also I now have to park in the street, since my 4runner is brokedown in the driveway, with the axle tore off.

Any suggestions, I was thinking the yard, but last time I did that, I had a nice juicy parking ticket waiting on me the next day....for parking in my own damn yard...city ordinances.

I will post the video later tomorrow, maybe.

Just hope common sense prevails with your neighbor after he sees the video. Show him your truck has no damage form a hit to another car.

Just a crappy situation. Hopefully when they see the video they'll agree and apologize.

    That sucks josh!

You'd think people would see there's no damage to your tundra before committing a crime. Sadly, that's not the tune most people play these days.

At least if (hoping this isn't the case) your truck does turn into a victim, you know who to throw under the bus with the cops!

Go to a mirror and practice the face you're going to give those clowns when they apologize to you.

We really should, I imagine almost everyone has has some interesting experiences with neighbors.

I doubt they will apologize. However that would be glorious if they did!

So true, that is why I am currently in the process of house-hunting. it is difficult to find something in the right parameters for myself.

I hope they do not do the damage, but luckily my home security system will catch them if they do.

Lol, yes I need to do this!

This is exactly why I'm buying a home in a neighborhood that has 1 acre minimum. Realistically 5 acres.

I would just talk to them and say your sorry you weren't the one that they blamed for the mirror. After that, they can choke on a bag of dicks.

Unfortunately I get off at 3AM. Then they leave to work around 8:00 AM (my sleeping time). Then they do not get home until after I leave to go to work. LOL
    Such a good movie!

I agree, my next home will not be so close to neighbors...

I plan on doing this, I am going to cut the video down to just the portion they need to see/hear. Then leave them a note with the video on a disc.
