I prep'd two yesterday. Not really feeling the chrome surround with the new grill. IMOP it looks better with painted surround and bulge. One thing I am liking are the new LED headlights and LED fog lights. Just need to figure out if the fogs are plug/play to the old halogen or not.

Glad I got a 2017. I don't like the grille or the cluster.

 I agree I'm glad I got a 2016 because I like my platinum grill a lot better!

Just looked at the wiring diagram. The connector for the Fog Lights are the same just need to confirm mounting.

The new grill is OK. I do like the smaller gauges positioned in the center. I really hope the LED headlights perform 1000% better than the halogens. We just came back from Tahoe/Reno at night and my wife said to get new headlights. I got a green flag to spend $!

I want the LED headlights and the hood scoop I don't need the 20170814_182218.jpg LED fog lights already have Morimoto. Can anyone confirm for me that they're not making black 202 anymore? Didn't see it on the color list :(

If Toyota was to have the Toyota Hilux Tonka Concept grow up to a full size version of the Toyota Tundra Tonka, I'll bet you'll have a crap load of people wanting to buy em. I sure would. 2017_toyota_hilux_tonka_concept.jpg

I love that instrument cluster layout! The single worst thing about the 2nd gen IMO is the crappy gauge setup. I have to keep the backlight all the way up during the daytime to be able to see some of them with sunglasses on.

I just checked Toyota's website and the dirty bastards still haven't brought back green as an option, so I'm out.

My local dealer (Newbold Toyota in O'Fallon, IL) just received their first 2018 Tundra. Double cab TRD Off Road SR5 in MGM for $43K. Like the headlights but not the grill with chrome surround.

The grill would look a lot better the surround was color matched and not chrome.

I have those rims on my 17 Tundra Platinum and I can't stand them. Once I use up the tires on the factory wheels, I'm going to get some better looking rims and better tires.

I couldn't wait that long with mine. Replaced with SCS SR8's and KO2s at 5k miles and looks and rides much much better. Toyota doesn't seem to put much effort into their wheel designs for the tundra.

I feel you. I am going to wait until I use up the current tires because when I change out the rims, I am going to go to a little bit bigger tires, someting that will be snow rated but still will give me a decent ride on the highway. Something around a 285/55/20 probably.

Just to throw up a bunch more photos, here is the first 2018 we've received. It's the Canadian Platinum model.
We also just received a TRD Offroad in while, but she's still coming off the truck.

Most of these are the new information display screens available.
