First of all, you always need a Tundra. No matter what your family situation. Haha if you can afford it, you need it. That lift would be interesting to see on a Tundra. Someone wanna try it?

Not really my thing but to each their own I guess.

Just looks like the truck equivalent of "bi's tri's and Levi's" to me.

Yes it is, a little over 9K will get the lift, wheels and tires... then you need worry about gears and other little tidbits. I've been saving for this for about 4 months.

That Taco will sit at about the same height as a Tundra with a 6-inch lift, except it's going to look like a kid trying to tip toe. There was a guy around where I live who got a 6-inch lift kit installed on his Taco. He got upset when he saw that my stock Tundra was sitting at the same height as his Taco. He sold his truck and bought a full size truck sometime later.

I'm 6'2 and one of the reasons i got a Tundra over a new shape Taco was the fact I didn't fit in the Taco for s**t. Granted, he'll be able to get in it at that height but he's gonna need to origami himself to drive it.

Looks Okay, but if you want a bigger truck then go Tundra.....Its got the power to turn those shoes. I forsee a lot of problems in the near future with a lift this big. I did the same thing when I was younger to a 2005 Tacoma.

If he is 6'4 he will be wishing he bought a Tundra...6'5 here and a Taco D/C just did not have the leg room. But it's his $$$ and if he is happy a million posts/comments does not matter.

I have an 08 TRD dbl cab. Leg room doesn't seem to be much of a problem... granted my tundra is luxury compared to it. It serves its purpose, off-road toy!
