Which bed cover do you guys like? The soft trifold or hard trifold? Can’t figure out which route I want to go.

What is that on the cup holder lining and shifter cover? Plasti dip? The chrome around the cup holders has been blinding me while driving lately, I need ideas

This is good advise and I would add...be sure to get what you want the first time. I've got a tonneau cover (Lomax Pro) on order and have changed my mind several times since I ordered it. I wanted it partially for security so that I could leave things in the bed if I made a short stop at a store or restaurant and parked it in public place. I park my truck in my garage when at home and I wish I had not been so anxious to buy myself something for my truck.
That said, a lot of folks here in the forum conceal carry a firearm. If you carry, you may want to consider a center console safe or security container. It would be high on any list of mods I would make.

Has anyone else noticed that the center console organizer holds a longneck bottle perfectly?

    In my opinion...

BakFlip VP , best of both worlds.

It's a hard tri fold covered in vinyl so you don't get the gaps for water to get in every crease like a typical hard fold, low profile, and more secure than soft.

I'm very happy with my bak revolver x2. I have 2 buddies who have them too, one tundra, one f-f-ford, ugh I said it. They both have had good luck with theirs too.

Honestly, the only real must do's are upgrade to 2018 LED headlights if you don't have them (which I'm sure you do), do the ESP underseat storage mod, tint your windows if they're not already, and put in some center console storage separators and a tray above them. The rest is either personal choice cosmetic stuff or utility upgrades based upon how you're going to use it.

I started with a Pro and did the following:

Tonneau (Got the dealer to throw it in)
Console organizer (upper tray and lower organizer)
    Weather tech floor liners
    LED lights
    ESP underseat storage (Crewmax)
Tires and D.A.P. are on deck (within the month)

Why’d you go with the weather techs instead of the OEM ones?

I also went with the WTs as well and they’re awesome. I figured they’d be nicer than the oems

I think they fit better than OEM. I had the weather tech's in my Tacoma and liked them. The dealer through in a set of the all weather, they are still in the shrink wrap.

Agreed. I just hate how conveniently expensive it is (in my eyes) to de-chrome the bumper caps. Vinyl wrap or paint will be my solution when the time comes.

I see...I had to order some because with 2 kids you never know what they'll eat or drink and spill on the seats...I'm glad I got them on my new Highlander...

They're kids and you are the parent, you control what they eat or drink.

Water doesn't hurt anything, usually, and I don't think they'll starve if they can't eat anything for 30 minutes or an hour in most cases.
