I'm a first time Tundra owner and I'm very happy with my purchase and the only thing I'm concerned is the MPG I'm getting. I've owned the truck for 3 weeks now and I'm getting only 13 mpg combined every fill up on manual calculations. Do I have to bring the truck back to the dealer for them to check if something is wrong with the truck or do I wait till I put in more miles on it. I have about 800 miles on it. Help.

Truck needs time to learn and adjust. You will probably only get ~15 city with little highway.

I was planning on bringing it for service! I want to get the mpg stated on the fine print which states 15 city / 19 hwy / 16 combined. I want to get what I pay for.

Haha, sure you can get 16 combined feathering the gas pedal. I actually was able to get 16 avg at one point and it drove ne nuts doing it. Havent used the hwy much these days and my computer says I'm at 10.5... :) I just drive it how I please now and dont worry about it. Those mph estimates are such bs

    I live 7.5 miles from work ...
But I workout at a gym that's 15.5 miles from home (23 from
Work) which is mainly highway...occasionally, I hit the tow/haul button on it and step on it....that drops that number pretty quick haha.

...other than that, I don't drive her too hard when I don't have to...when I do, I whisper an apology to her haha.
