We had something roll through overnight. Had to collect pool floats from the corners of the yard.

Tucson doesn't get them like you guys do. They get going through the TO Reservation, Red Rock, Maricopa/CG area, GR Reservation, then on to you! All those dirt areas.

My house was built in 78 and had basic single pane windows, the difference when I upgraded to modern dual pane low-e was incredible.

My windows are 24 years old and about shot. It’d probably be a nice upgrade to get them replaced but I don’t want to spend that kind of money… I think the last quote we got was $50k :eek2:

Yup, we had Anderson Windows come out for their demo and a qoute of 75k for the whole house and patio door. That's like 5k per window. I was estimating 1k per window and maybe 5k for patio door.

Don't go with the overpriced big brands like Anderson, you should have a Window Depot up there in the Center of the Universe. I did my whole house with their aluminum framed ones for less than $4k, but that was a while ago.

Yeah it's quite a racket. We weren't even looking for a price at the time but a company was trying to get into our neighborhood and was going to "give us a deal". Thanks but no thanks.
$4k installed?? Was this like 1991?

Seriously ... I think their window technology is awesome but they just remove your old glass and set in the new frame into existing frame.

We actually signed all the paperwork to finance, had a big discussion after he left, read the fine print, figured we probably would never recoup that money compared to selling price of other homes in area.

Next day called first thing in the morning to cancel and couldn't get a hold of anyone, so we drove down there and canceled.

Hopefully salesperson didn't put a deposit on a new car.

Yes, installed. No doors, just 3 bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. I didn't do the small ones in the 2 bathroom because my built in place shed blocks them. Can't remember exactly when, maybe 2018-19.
