I bought a 2016 Tacoma at the end of June. I took it on road trips to Tampa, then Tennessee and it seemed to cramped to carry family on long trips, plus a Yellow Lab. It also just seemed to be lacking any testosterone under the hood.

I went and looked at Tundras in passing and saw a 2017 Tundra 4x4 and made the dealer an offer.

End of the Day, they paid the Tacoma off ($29225) and I was out the door with the Tundra for $44000. So the way I'm looking at it, is that I paid roughly $15000 for a brand new Tundra, because I was already on the hook for the Tacoma.
