Really?! What language would you use if someone screwed you out of over a grand, waited two months to tell you the deal not gonna happen, burned you on the refund and then you had to make several phone calls to your CC company to get your money back? Give us all a break Dude!

As for you trying to refund me and then calling my CC company, that's an outright lie! I've talked to Discover several times and asked if the merchant made any attempt or called to make a refund. Discover said NO attempt for an electronic refund or call was ever made.

Luckily I have the emails back and forth so I was able to send them to Discover and they disputed the charge and gave me my money back.

 

Seriously, where are the mods and why isn't something being done?

 

Moderators are not everywhere on the forum. The only way we know of an issue is if you USE the report button and let us know so we can intervene.

I was contacted recently about this issue and it has now been made aware to all the moderators and @Bob but if anyone has unresolved issues then report it to us.

I still have not received the refund. You sent me a refund receipt that said it could take up to 7 days. It's been double that now.

What can we do to start litigation against this asshole??

 

IIRC, there hasnt been a single member who has said they actually received their refund. Those of us who have got our money back only were able to do so by filing a dispute with our CC provider.

I just went back through the thread. The only member who said they got their refund without contacting their CC and filing a fraud dispute was @gdisarray, but he got his by bailing on the group-buy before the fiasco.

@BRYMTIME, you should file a claim.

 

This is ending worse than even I could have predicted. I know this guy was full of shit and had a history of scamming but this is just flat out theft. What a shame.

 

This vendor took $20,000.00 from tundras.com members (13 shipped orders, and if his claim that only 7 orders were cancelled can even be believed = 20 orders @ 1K each).

He then spat out lie after lie, contracting himself many times. The supplier even had to come here and call him out on his lies.

Then he claims he refunded everyone, but yet no one has said they got their refund without filing a fraud dispute with their credit card provider.

I don't understand why he isn't banned.

 

Since I made the quoted post on Sunday we have received NO report of an issue.

Do you want this member banned now so he cannot address refunds that you requested?? If banning is the end result it will be done and yet @eledobleu needs to address the problems being brought up.

And let’s get this straight. He is NOT an approved vendor for this site. Vendors have a banner across their user name saying such.

He's not approved for good reason. He has scammed before. There were a few members here that posted warnings early on in a few of his group buy threads including this one..it doesn't make what he did right or okay, buy when long time active members warn against a seller, I know I sure would listen

 

This is my concern with a ban. It could make refunds even harder to obtain. it's a shitty situation for everyone.

 

@eledobleu needs to address all members concerns and what he is doing to provide refunds to those who have not received their merchandise.

 

Yeah...........Then perma ban his ass.

 

Damn this sucks, I hope everyone gets their money back.

A procedure needs to be formulated to use with @eledobleu to hopefully resolve issues.

I'm glad this was one group buy that I didn't get into. I planned on buying, but ended up spending the funds on other mods first. Hope everything works out for you guys.

As I said, I didn't get in on this group buy, but according to all the issues everyone has had sounds like a good place to make others on here aware.

Remind me to never join a Group Buy unless it's from a Forum Vendor, Mod approved/run or from a veteran member.

 

I thought about these too and it’s just dumb luck I did other stuff first. I feel for you guys. I don’t see the advantage of letting this deadbeat continue to post here. He’s obviously dragging this out as long as he can. I take credit cards and issue refunds all the time... it takes all of two minutes to complete a refund and the CC customer can see it pending online within about 4 hours on their account or call their CC company and confirm the charge has been reversed. Easy peasy. This guy is just stalling. Drop the ban hammer... IMO anyway.

 

Yes I got mine back. He refunded my CC. But I bailed at the beginning of November.

I hope your CC company covers you guys.

 

Not that this will make things better for y'all. I read through this whole thread, and the defining moment was when a member, forgot his name posted about the Alpharex Nova's. As soon as the chatter got hot on them headlights, the group buy started.
