They are fast. I’ve already received a shipping notice for the HRS tails:

Why is no one looking at the Alpha Rex tails? If HR is so reliable? Morimoto isn’t perfect?
For $500 more, we’re thinking, sounds crazy!
So I ordered the ARs from HR...and now they are out of stock, sent from the manufacture, whenever!
I’ll be interested to hear the comments...I have zero idea when my tail lights will arrive.

Pretty sure the Alpharex were linked earlier in the thread. Isn't that them at the bottom of the page?

The Alpha Rex have been used by a few members and they seem to like them. I think it comes down to more of a styling preference. If you have the Alpha Rex headlights their tails probably tie in a lot easier.

I wonder if Morimoto tails will have sequential option. I have to say if I was behind a truck at night with sequential LED signal lights I would not like it. They are really distractingly bright at night. They remind me of the worst blinking neon lights one would see back in the day.

Not a fan of sequential lights either. Purely from an aesthetic point of view.

@Jim LE 1301 I already have these installed and wrote a review on them:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/hirev-sports-hrs-led-taillights-review-with-pictures.82698/

@Headlight Revolution , you should really consider reaching out to them to become a reseller. These are really nice lights at a good price point. Good way to add another tool to your toolbox.

I can say this much, the upcoming taillights will have the option of both Sequential or Standard On/Off turn signal modes, you can select which mode you want to display on the backside of the taillights with a plug. ;) Just like the XB headlights!

Wasn't implying you were holding out on us. It's just been 3 months that they have been working on this and yet they haven't shared anything. That seems pretty suspect to me lol

But we know you are doing what you can for us

They do take their time on things, and I know waiting for a release sucks! Just know you'll see it here first before anywhere else, I take care of my Tundra homies.

Just let them know they’re loosing sales. Personally I got tired of waiting and their lack of information and moved on to another option. If they would have been more forthcoming with at least pics, perhaps I would have waited, but no joy!

The Morimoto taillights are estimated at Q3 for release, being this fall. I imagine they just aren't close enough to the actual release date so they don't want to release photos of a product that could change still. If only we were closer to Fall, I'd probably have something to share! I'm just hoping on something sooner rather than later.

Yea, we used to take that same approach in our business as well until a new product line fell flat on it's face because nobody like it. We now put out early and continuing "feelers" and let our consumer actually help design and develop by providing feedback . Provides a much more satisfying product line and ROI is significantly higher.

Are they going to use the cheap dot matrix style multiple diode main lights like everyone else that look like crap?

I just did a google image search for Morimoto Truck Tail Lights

    https://www.google.com/search?q=mor...RHc0KHXoZA6QQ_AUoAXoECAcQAw&biw=2133&bih=1041

There are similarities between all the trucks, if you look at this pic.
    upload_2021-2-1_12-1-28.jpg

I like the double rectangle theme they all seem to follow, but I'm not as much of a fan of the clear lenses. Call me old school, but I like the red lens on a truck. Certainly not a deal breaker though.
Also, @Jim LE 1301 I don't see amber signals on any of them. I didn't dig a bunch, but I wouldn't hold my breath on it.:ohsnap: Edit: and the next post proves me wrong.
