Morimoto Tails... When will Tundras have availability?

Can I get some more pics of them off? I want to see how dark they are. I need them to be nearly black when they are off, it's structurally integral to the body of my tundra.

 

Hmm...not sure. I wish someone made a set of LED tails that didn't just scream "aftermarket" - they always end up looking busy, IMO. That said, I loathe halogen lights, so it's either LED bulbs in the stock housing or one of these aftermarket options. Anxious to see pricing and what the all red looks like installed. Thanks for the much anticipated pics, @Headlight Revolution and @memario1214!

 

All I know is there is an Amber light in my Morimoto headlights. Amber tails not only match the fronts better, anyone can search and see it would be a completely unique look compared to the competition.

 

My hirevs tails have amber turns. Sequential even.

 

yeah, I was just watching the video that Jim posted. I didn’t realize they turned amber with that red tubing. Pretty neat.

 

That’s it? Look like cheap aftermarket taillights. To bad.

Alright alright, but this is only because y'all have been so cool about the wait thus far.

For some more details, we're looking at around September-October for an ETA on these bad boys!

Likely there will be both a Smoked AND a Red lens option for those who like choices.

They are OPTIONAL Sequential Turn Signals OR Standard On/Off blinking - Turn Signals are AMBER / Brake lights are Red (They flip to AMBER when Turn Signal is Active)

They use TIR / Light Pipe optics for a smooth OEM+ appearance

Full LED Reverse lighting as well

Being Morimoto, you can expect a Plug and Play solution as well.

Nice. Now once a video is released that will help be decide between these or the Vleds tail as turn system once they get it done lol. At least these do appear to be more attractive compared to what Morimoto did with the 4Runner tails.

 

I was saying how cool they looked! Nobody believed me... LOL

 

Haha....now we just need to see operation in action. Yeah they look nice. We have a 2020 4Runner as well and I was so unimpressed with those that I didn't even show them to her lol.

I'm betting in the $650-700 range. That's where the 4Runner tails are.

 

Pricing is to be determined yet, we're still too early on to know. I'm sure we'll find more on $$$ when the release video comes out!

 

Any chance they would be willing to do a group.buy for us. We would definitely post some photos and positive reviews.
