Hey All,

I wanted to start a thread for Montana owners. Hopefully, we can help each other find parts or advice from locals in the state. I am a first gen owner but have worked on quite a few Toyota's.

Also, if anyone is looking for hunting/fishing partners, here's your chance.

I've always wanted to hunt deer in Texas, don't you get something like 5 deer tags a season?

 

I’m not sure as I never got around to hunting whitetail deer here like I planned. I prefer my Illinois whitetail deer and Michigan.

They definitely have some large racks on the bucks here though!

 

Big deer and sunshine, sounds like a good time to me.

 

It can be. Lol I’ll take my cold again any day. It gets way too hot here for me. Haha

 

I will never complain about the cold again. Had to work in Texas for a bit (and in the South in general) and got into a mess of chiggers. I've never itched so bad.

I'm in Great Falls. Wish there were more members on here, there is a lot of great Tundras here in town. Waiting on my forum decal to try and spread the word! Still trying to find some light trails for some fun, moved here a year ago.

 

Damn I miss it up there...sure beats the hell out of Fl.

I just signed up and wanted to say howdy from Billings.

 

Hey there all! So once this virus nonsense is over.....who's down for a meetup? We're going to be headed into spring and summer and now is a great time to start planning! I need to rely on those that have lived here longer than I have and know where we should meetup to be able to do some off-roading and camping, outdoor fun! My go to campground near Glacier has been Emery Bay campground. "out of the way" but still easy to get to and nice being right on the lake. Down for anywhere!

 

Havre..I’m ready for a road trip! Meetup sounds good.. Prairie Dog hunt? Emery Bay sounds good also..

 

Ahhh Freedom!!! Covid can suck a d$&k!

 

I'm in ND, but 50 miles from the MT border....can I participate with the MT guys some day? Lol

Fuck yes Im ready to get out. Emery bay is awesome...Gonna try to hit the north fork of the flathead this week if the weather holds out.

Still waiting to find out if layoffs are coming my way. Might just have to fish the summer away on the Blackfoot...

Montana is great, I stayed in finley point on the flathead reservation about 9 years ago. What a beautiful part of the country, I am jealous

I don't know what you're talking about. I have a father-in-law that lives up there, and I went to visit, once. It was June and there was snow at the forest service cabin we stayed at. The white water rapids ride were freezing. Now the family is trying to get me to go skiing. Way too cold for me.

LOL. The cold isn't for everyone, but there are far worse places. I was in Great Falls for 5 years and loved it. Not to mention that people up there respect each other unlike here in Fl.
