I comprehend just fine , its you who can't comprehend the fact that there is nothing wrong with an aftermarket full synthetic Multi-vehicle ATF .

Like many other people here , I've Been using Amsoil signature series ATF in all my vehicles for several years, hundreds of thousands of trouble free miles .

I feel sorry for someone like you who has been brain washed into having that "If its not OEM it will destroy your car" type of mentality .

Another vote for Valvoline Maxlife. I've been using it in Toyotas and Hondas for at least a decade. I've done the complete replacement method and the sequential drain and fill method. I have found it to be a high quality fluid and I have no plans to use anything else.

So something to remember here. Companies who produce high quality synthetic fluids that will meet or exceed the WS fluid, do not have the certification from toyota simply because it costs an insane amount of money to get the certification. It's not worth it to them, when their fan base already knows they make good oil. And if said company says it meets or exceeds WS, and is an adequate replacement for WS, their regular customers are going to buy that brand because they trust them to make a quality product. If Amsoil WS fluid was blowing transmissions left and right, we would know. There would be tons of evidence. But it's a great fluid. They make great products (even though I'm a Schaeffers oil kinda guy).

They wouldn't claim to have a trans fluid labeled WS, that isn't going to be up to par. Because they want to make sure they put out a great product and keep their current customers, while gaining more in the future.

Look into Transynd fluid that diesel owners use and the certification issues with that fluid. It's an eye opener

I was going to use Maxx Life on my drain and fill but didnt want to mix fluid so just used WS. If I could do a complete drain and fill I probably would have switched to Maxx Life though. I highly doubt switching fluids is going to drop your temp down 20° but sign me up if it does.

    last weekend we did a drain & Fill on my son's 2015 4Runner. 1st one. 70k miles.

the fluid came out very clean...just a hint darker than new. I love Toyota.

then we did drain & fill on rear diff. (2wd) 1st one. it came out golden - like new.

Valvoline maxlife on the trans....Royal purple on the diff

There is absolutely nothing what so ever magical or special about WS fluid. Toyota use extremely high quality transmission components, that's where the reliability and durability come from... the fluid is just an average transmission fluid tweaked for Toyota vehicles.

This is hilarious, I was a tech for a couple large dealerships, they would and never did waste money on an oil analysis for a failed transmission… that being said, I’ve been running Amsoil in my trans for 30k and have nothing but piece of mind.

To get full fluid swap from WS to MaxLife in some trucks in past, i did back to back drain and fills. Run it a minute moving shifter all the way through range of gears a few times between each draining.
Never had an issue from them.
