I recently moved and I am driving more HWY miles. Noticing more and more Tundys out there...AWESOME! I've also seen more Dbl cabs with 8ft beds and I've been thinking....

Why did Toyota not take the chassis from a dbl cab 8ft bed, and swap out for a crew max with 6.5ft bed? Do the rear wheels not match up between the two different bed lengths?

Would more of you prefer this option?

It would be a 7 ft bed. I think it's because they're already at capacity on builds and they already sell every tundra built. That would just mean less profit.
