Rough Country 3.5” Suspension Lift 295/60R20 Falken Wildpeak 20x9 DX4 Boost
Recently completed lease buyout on my 2016 Tundra 1794. Took the past month, researching and trying to figure proper fitment of lift, tires and wheels.

Rough Country 3.5” Suspension Lift (yeah yeah, this is cosmetic and not a performance lift. I am a pavement driver)

    295/60R20 Falken Wildpeak

    20 x 9 DX4 Boost (+10)

Knew I would need minor trimming of some plastic. Turns out, I am hitting body mount -front and rear on driver side - front only on passenger side.

First question, would a different offset correct this? Perhaps a +20? Seems marginal in my opinion.

Second question, what are pros and cons of body mount chopping? Not opposed to this option if it makes sense.

Lastly, as the lift settles, will the rub area increase, decrease, or stay the same?

Looking for great ideas, so I can move to some other upgrades.

    Thanks in advance.

Welcome from Co. Remove mud flaps, and push front plastic fender liner forward if you need to.

Not sure where your from but a company in Cali called 88 rotors shows there work on body mount chops on their tundra lifts. just pointless info but nice to see other peoples rides getting fixed up.

I run +18 with 35's and no BMC... hut I am 1.5" higher. With those tires, I think you could go to +24 if you had to. Definitely have to remove mud flaps and modify fender liner though.

I'd try spacers before chopping metal bits off

going with a higher offset will reduce the rubbing (+18 or +25 for example). or, just do the body mount chop (and fill). there are no issue in doing that mod.
