At night, the other items mounted next to the mirror 4 way and L/R are all backlit, is my mirror switch broken and it is supposed to be lit up?

Toyota doesn't want you reaching down and adjusting your mirrors at night.
    It's a distraction to driving.
It's supposed to be that way.

Why do you need to adjust your mirrors at night anyway?

You need more details in your sig line.
    It doesn't give enough information...

I can adjust them without the lights. It is just annoying to not match.
    Thx

    Alot of them
Toyota has never had them backlit in the Tundras. I don't even know if the wife's 4Runner has it.

+1, the only time I need to adjust mine I'd after cleaning them. Not sure it is Toyota not wanting you to adjust mirrors at night since the controls are back-lit on Prius'.

Maybe the 4000 watts is moving the mirrors? :D

I agree with the others. No lights in my 2016 Limited. However, I can easily adjust the mirrors by touch while sitting at a stoplight or whatever. Hopefully you're smart enough not to be playing with such things while driving.

Maybe they figure Sienna drivers need the extra help. Ooh. Ouch. :smack:

In my last car, a sedan, I would occasionally need to redirect my mirror when Dickhead Jones would drive behind me with brights left on, or just if the lights seemed bright. If I started to feel my skin and hair sizzle, I’d angle the mirror down so the 7000000 candle power beam wouldn’t be glaring right in my face.

In the truck it’s no problem.

I have trouble seeing at night and need the extra light. I’m offended by your post.

Maybe. But my Sienna has a higher payload rating than my Tundra so I'm not sure it needs the extra help ;)
