Lots of good info here man, thanks! I definitely want to make my Tundra trail ready if need be, so full articulation with 35s will be key. I know for sure my build will end up with 35s which is why I wont compromise and buy smaller tires in the mean time. I have 5 months to get this tow pig ready for May and the Offroad Expo in Flagstaff, AZ. I came from a very capable Tacoma and wanted to stick with similar suspension, but Dirt King doesn't make anything for Tundras yet. Looks like I'll be running Total Chaos uppers for sure and possibly lowers down the road.

For sure Stefen. If you get those 35"s in and run them on the trails before I do, let me know how it goes! I'm still considering my options at the moment because the pro will most likely be 80-90% on paved roads. As much as I want to do 35's; 34" ko2 are more ideal for me to still be on/off road capable. This is something that I've been going back and forth with since I got the tundra. I also have a first gen taco that I'd rather take on the trails and beat up more than the sexy pro. Last trail I took the pro on was way to narrow and got a lot brush scratches..
Btw which gen Taco did you have and what suspension setup did you end up running?

I have Toyo A/T II's 285/75's on my 15 Pro, and they have no issues at all . Some light trimming of the front plastic and removal of the front mud flaps, and they ride and look legit!

Right now I'm replacing the TRD black wheels that came on the pro, for some Fuel Trophy's at 18x9.5 and the offset is going to look great. That said, even more trimming of the plastic is going to be necessary!

I'll post a couple pics as soon as it's done..

2016 TRD Pro, 315/70R17's on TRD Rock Warriors, 1.25" spacers in the front, front bumper plastics removal, light front bumper trimming (didn't have to but did), mud flap removal, no cab mount modification. These are the same dia. as the 295/70R18's a lot of Pro owners are running, but about an inch wider.

Looks real good. Not to thread jack, but what mud flaps are you running? They don't look stock.

I had an 08 2ng gen with front and rear ADS shocks, Dirt King MT up front with DMZ LT kit in rear. It truly was perfect with way more things to come...:(

OK I did put on the BFG Ko2 35 12.50r17 on my bone stock TRD PRO with the Rock Warrior wheels.
I went with the rock warrior wheels because they are lighter and I already have the 17" tires. Works great had to remove the front mudflap and it rubbed a little only in reverse on the front. I took a heat gun and moved the plastic out of the way and its all good. I am four wheeling most days on the way home and so far its all good. See photo

Here is a link...tundra classifieds. Several sets for $800 you may live closer that I do...good luck. I have two full sets just incase.
You can't get them at the Dealer any longer unless you have a VIN for a Rock Warrior. I also say a brand new set on ebay...for $1500...a little high. But they are new.

I really like the wheels a lot...feels like they weight about 1/3rd of the stock wheels. Good luck.

How close are you to the UCA? I'm going to attempt a 35x12.50 18 on the stock TRD pro wheel w/ no other modification.. unless I need too. you are on a +50 offset.. I am on a 60. worried it might get a little tight in there.

Yep you might consider a 1.25" wheel spacer.

    definitely in consideration..
still hesitant about squeezing the 12.50 on a 8" wide wheel.. but gone through tons of post w/ RW wheels.. those are 17x8 I believe.. and 12.50's have been ran on beat on with no concerning issues. (at least none posted)
Give or take the "bead lock" that may also help snug the bead in there.
    But really looking into it.

I have the RW wheel 17x8 with 315/70R17 (Diameter:34.4", Section Width: 12.7") Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs. Haven't had any issues at all.
Wheel offset with wheel spacers: +18.24

Tire was too tight to the upper control arm without the wheel spacers. The RW has +50 offset. Yours are +60.

Nice. how is it flexed out? pretty decent still?
Since the KO2 isn't a full 35"(34.6") as listed I am concerned of need the body mount chop.
With the 1.25 spacers (31.75mm-60mm offset) would equal to about a 28.25mm offset. so body mount might be tight at flex+full lock or maybe just full lock.

@csuviper how is wheeling with the spacers? i just put some on my taco. haven't wheel in it yet.
