He probably means the adapters that comes with it which is standard now. I bought my Insider a couple years ago but then they started to release them with the locking adapters.

Milwaukee did good with me and sent me the new adapters free of charge after I had found out (i think it was @RainMan_PNW posting about that when he got his)

 

OH.....OK. Yea, when I got my set it had those two (or was it three?) adapters.
Love it.

 

Lucky if you got the 3! They only sent me the 1/4 and 3/8 adapters since what I bought only came with the 2.

 

It was a set, and I just went out and checked, one was hex, no idea what that one is for....
But so far I am very happy with the Insider, cost a pretty penny, too. But worth it.

 

I know this is not Milwaukee, but them ICON sockets are pretty nice, and 40% off is almost never heard of.
They do have torque wrenches on deep discounts as well.
I would say if you need a set, get those.

I have Tekton torque wrenches, actually 3 of them...... but 2 are 1/2 and one is 3/8....

I got it this January. I meant as part of this new gen. Didn't mean to imply it's a 2nd gen insider

 

Picked up this guy for a lil over $100 to (hopefully) button up a project. Wish me luck!

 

Love mine. Love it. I will say the guard is chintzy though.

 

It’s a handy tool but it eats through batteries, even the big ones.

 

Thanks, that's what I got. So apparently, it has the 1/4 and 3/8" adapter, also the 1/4" Hex adapter, too.

Need????? want is the key. Some good deals. I do not need a crown stapler but that is a good deal for $129. The M18 router at $179 is also a good deal. I wonder if they are coming out with newer versions.
