It's from TekMat. That one is the Mossberg 500/590 and I also have a smaller one for the S&W MP9.

Got the same kit and just used that offset to drill in a bracket right up against an old window. Worked quite well.

The tire inflator came in today, and I immediately tested it out. So much nicer not having to drag a long cable around from my compressor, nor having to plug in my portable one if I’m being lazy. This inflator did amazing!

Sounds like the first time I used an oscillating multi tool. Kept saying “what do I need that for” and then the first time I had a job that made sense for one (and bought it for that job) I was “how the fuck did I survive without this?!”

now, full disclosure, I think the ergonomics of the yellow 20v OMT is much better than the M18 Fuel one. Their quick-change lever and general balance and control of the tool (paddle trigger) are much better. I might pick up a M12 one just for more detailed work.

I find myself using the M12 at least 90% of the time, but it is in the packout with my drill, surge driver, and pin nailer so it’s easier to get to. The m12 is more wieldy but the m18 fuel is more powerful for hardwoods and such. I use both, but the m12 is awesome.

However, the speed dial on the m12 works it’s way loose sometimes and will skip between speeds/slow down to lowest setting when between two speeds if for example you jam the blade and whole saw buzzes. I haven’t had that issue with the m18 fuel oscillating took.

You haven’t swapped a m18 battery on that DeWalt have you? It’s on sale at HD right now and I’ve been looking for one. Wondering if those 2 volts really make a huge difference when it has a variable speed trigger

edit: voila- someone made a video 3 days ago..

Hmmm, that tool change is really nice . Hundred bucks. Would be 2 for 2 today

DW’s “20v MAX” is a marketing ploy. They use the same core cells as any other 18v system. The max value comes from the theoretical max output (with no efficiency losses) and some rounding for the convenience of marketing…
    3.2v max output per cell x 6 cells = 19.2v
Give that number to a marketing guy and you get 20v MAX*
Give it to an engineer and you get 18v

point is the “20v” yellow stuff is running at the same nominal 18v as everyone else. Set aside proprietary controllers for overcurrent protection and battery monitoring, and the tool is using the same juice.

I hate you guys, but it is that time of year.....

About 2.5 years ago I started converting over from DeWalt. My DeWalt tools were 10+ year old. My buddies who are a plumber and electrician are 100% nothing but Milwaukee. I decided to follow them and give them a try. I have about 30 m18 tools, and 15 m12 tools. Have about 5 different pack out containers.

Right now finishing up building our house and trim work. I use the 15ga, 16ga, and Brad nailer every night.

The 4-in-1 tool have had my eye on all year. I have the m12 radio/charger and it is awesome! Why not get the m18 also!

I think I will need to go get the oscillating tool and trim removal for this to work?

I have all those m12 tools also. Just a warning, the little cp1.5 batteries do not have a great run time to them, or not great for when you are really running your drills hard. I have several of the xc3.0 to xc5.0 batteries. Big difference in runtime and strength. For example, the m12 planer will run through a cp1.5 battery in about 2 to 3 minutes max. It is the most taxing tool I have for the m12 line.

Keep looking at Home Depot at their kits. It may be the same tools as you already have, but has xc3.0+ batteries in it. Then sell the tools you already have, return the tools/keep batteries, give as Chrostmas gift to relatives.....

I know it makes no sense with HD and Milwaukee, but sometimes you can get a kit with 3 tools and 2 batteries cheaper than buying one XC battery.

I use the cp1.5 batteries in the m12 caulk gun and laser level I have as they are not real taxing on batteries.

I see what you are doing now.... You need to cut out the baseboard where the vanity is sitting so it will sit flush. Yes, that is the perfect tool for what you are doing. With a little practice you can make really tight and straight cuts.
