I buy everything online and pickup in the store in NH but you can have it delivered
If I have stuff delivered I have to pay sales tax and the state tracks my purchases

People from mass buy stuff in NH to avoid the sales tax. Mass isn’t a fan of that program for obvious reasons.

Yes the state tracks out of state purchases
When you have something from out of state delivered to MA the buis has to report the transaction and pay the sales tax

Ok. That’s a federal thing now - we get hit with the same. Guess I never looked at it as “the state is tracking my purchases” but I guess you’re right.

I buy and ship to store in Portland (OR has no sales tax) as well.

No - we’ve got plenty of sales tax (8-11% depending on location). No income tax though.

Convenient that you live close enough to the border then... I'm not sure where in my brain I ever thought this to be true. Clearly it was made up though.

I could see myself having a problem with these emails. Justified by the low price even if I don't necessarily need the tool or item.

I go back and forth against my good buddy @Areith762 who runs Dewalt. He just bought a van for his projects. This is only one side of his van he completed. This does not include his garage.

I got sick and tired of my bed being a hodge podge of bins, bags, etc. I admittedly keep way too much stuff because I try to have tools ready for when we camp and stuff. I hate moving it in and out and you never know when you’ll need something. So I decided to do the Milwaukee packout idea that was shared earlier in this thread.

I can’t even begin to count how many hours I spent researching and using configure tools before I settled on this combo to start. I’ll most likely be adding some of the smaller half bins after Christmas. My wish list to true fam consisted of H-D gift cards!

they’re definitely clean and sturdy…..but damned expensive. And I kind of had to butcher the wall plates because of the way my diamondback latches….but very pleased with the results

Ordered this set when it was on a deep discount… just picked it up today.
    upload_2024-12-7_19-25-31.png

The socket set itself is awesome. The execution of putting it in a packout case leaves a lot to be desired. There’s so much wasted space. The trays that the sockets set in are resting on about 1” thick dense foam (like the Kaizen stuff) to raise them up to rest against the surface of the lid.

The big 3/8 & 1/4 drive regular socket set in the thin packout case is nicely laid out and utilizes the case size really well. This one would’ve been better off if they maybe dropped the two largest SAE sockets from it and instead tossed in some adapters (1/2x3/8 each way) and squeezed it into the thinner case.

As it is, I might modify the trays so they sit flat inside of the 4-drawer case (and put the regular socket set in another drawer) and use the actual packout cases for small parts.
