www.oakleysi.com they offer the discount to military, police, fire and first responders. You have to send them a pic of your id yearly, but I’ve found some great deals and they sell some cool exclusives.

Oakley Standard Issue is dangerous lol. I was EAS’ing and needed to move the family across the country before me so ordered the Large and carry on roller suitcases and since I was there 2 pairs of Oakley’s. Since then probably 4 more pairs of Oakley’s,the messenger bag, and the kitchen sink backpack. Can’t say enough good stuff about that site and the gear.

To contribute to the list I will add GovX and Benchmade. GovX you have to register with just like Oakley but they sell all kinds of things. Best prices I have seen on hydroflask as well.

Used my VA home loan twice in the last 10 years. Both times the house closed within 45 days of accepted offer. Both times my out of pocket closing costs were less than 1/2 of what they would have been as a conventional mortgage.

It is about twice the paperwork, but honestly only about 30 minutes worth of work if you just sit down and fill it all out. A good lender (Navy Fed in my case) will do almost all of the paperwork for you and just ask for signatures.

Well apparently I'm now in charge of marketing at my place of business. Not that it helps anyone here since we are a small office equipment company, but Veteran Owned businesses are going to receive 10% off any of my companies products not just today, but for the entire month of November.

No problem, I just hope it doesn’t eat into the mod budget!
I agree, Oakleys can cause some significant thinning of the wallet... almost as bad as a Tundra! :anonymous:

For all the :muscleflexing::benchpress::militarypress:fitness members(yes you too ladies) a couple friends of mine own a clothing/coffee company. It's called Feed Me Fight Me. A percentage of every sale is donated to military charities. Both owners are also former Marines. If you search them on IG or FB you can find all their athletes and they have discount codes.

5.11 guves amazing military discounts! You have to call them though and ask for it. They do ask for proof (email if memory serves correct)....well worth it when what you pay (with shipping) is less than the price on their website;)

I have never used the VA either. My friend was telling me how much he was using his Retired ID for discounts do I thought I’d get one. I call up the VA to inquire about getting an ID. They tell me prior service vets need to go to the DMV and have veteran added to their drivers license. So I take my DD214 down and get one. When I go into Lowes and show the girl at checkout my license for the 10% discount she says she can’t accept that. I go into telling her the VA sent me to the DMV to have this done because they don’t do prior service IDs. She then tells me she can’t take it, that anyone could go have veteran put on their license. I explained not without a DD214 they can’t!!!!! I told told her l’m glad I served for fat ass white trash like you and walked out.

Govx.com is another great one that offers a military discount. They have camping supplies scopes clothes sunglasses even tickets. Its open to all first responders and military. Vettix.com is another great website that raffles or gives away free tickets.

I would have either simply said forget it if it was a couple dollars or asked for the manager if it was a decent amount. The crazy thing here is compared to HD Lowe’s policy on military discounts is WAY better then HD. Lowe’s will let you stack it on top of a sale price or an advertised amount off. I bought custom wood blinds in NC and ended up getting almost 50% off of some cordless Levelor blinds. Here in Or we recently replaced our washer and dryer and the discount and sale price was enough that we basically got a $900 dryer for free. At HD bought a new fridge that had a sale price of like 100 bucks off... no military discount.

Glock gives a blue label discount. It's a different pricing and comes with an extra magazine. I can't remember the other gun discounts. I think lowes changed their policy. I almost couldn't get a discount. Because they require you to register on line. Flashing military ID doesn't work anymore.

For those of you in western Pa , There’s a local offroad shop in the area that’s run by Veterans . They give a decent discount to vets .
That , and it’s also a pretty decent gunshop . So, it’s kinda one stop shopping .
The name of the store is Jisco . The are located in Butler County ,Pa ,between Butler and Slippery Rock on Rt8 .

They no longer accept military ID. I went to the service counter and they looked at my ID and signed me up for the lowes card without having a DD214. Might try that. Now I just enter my # in the checkout and wah la
