Thought I would change the LED locations a bit. Went on the outsides vs the middle so I didn’t have to drill the middle light.

Yeah they look smaller. No idea how bright they are. Saw them posted online. Saw a couple pics from others running them, said they really like them.

Has anyone installed them in the hood scoop on the TRD sport yet? I think I prefer them in the bulge over the grill, but the scoop might look great too.

Been thinking about putting the raptor lights here. Can anyone think of a reason not to do it? I just think the wiring would be easier and I can just tap into the DRL wires. Only asking bc mostly everyone puts them up higher.

I just finished my grill lights. Went against the grain and did amber under glow instead of seeing the actual lights. What’s everyone’s thoughts? Kind of looks like a pumpkin haha

Here's mine. I 3D printed the brackets to hold the lights in. The lights themselves each have 2 leds in them.

Thanks for all the input. I have undertaken this and decided to take on the project. Just contributing as a pay-back for the knowledge contributed by others.

I initially had the LEDs mounted vertically. However, I didn’t like the factory grill “breaking up” the lighting so I decided to mount them horizontally. As you may see, the LEDs are centered to the small openings - much brighter and more uniform light output. At the moment, i could tell I have 6 LED’s (3 pairs). I ‘may’ eventually try to move the LEDs closer together to get a semi-solid light output.

They are wired to be on all the time but I also decided to install a switch for the infrequent occasion that I want to be in the truck for lengthy times and listen to the radio.
