Thanks bro yeah man that 37 just ain't gonna fit under there no matter how many ways I measure it lol. I've chucked the original spare. The new Yota TPMS sensor on my new spare did some voodoo magic and self registered on a relearn...whooah what!! So as the world turns, haven't figured out what to do with the bed yet (namely bed cover or not) and as such haven't figured out how the spare will come along for travel. Right now however I would say the lean is towards Rigdsupply Ultraswing Megafit carrier that I learned about somewhere in the forums here - it doesn't require a custom rear bumper but like many things here may require a loan to buy. I tend to haul bikes so it will let the whole bike rack swing out of the way for accessing the bed. Otherwise I like SDHQ bed mount options but more than I need for my world . On a positive note those 12 ply tires are ridiculously tough. I pulled a nail out the other day fully expecting to hear air hissing...but no man all good and put some soap on it no bubbles...so with that potential hole probably another reason to carry the spare when far from home.
@Rc23 you gotta build page I wanna see those dirty7's! What are you thinking for the spare?

My latest favorite mods are the 5.29 regear and the left hand grab handle that bring me the most joy recently.

@rothmigo I haven't made a build page yet but I'm hoping to get around to it soon. I'm honestly not sure about the spare - I want to eventually put a Leitner system and an iKamper on mine. I like the ICS fab spare tire holder since it just mounts to the rail system (I'm still trying to find a used set since my truck didn't come with them) or may just pick up a Y strap and weld a small bracket like the brixton ones for super duty's.
    https://www.cjcoffroad.com/Brixton-Bravery-Fabrication-Spare-Tire-Rear-Mount-p/bbf-strm-b.htm

I currently have an undercover flex cover on mine that's going to be hard to ditch once I decide.
I'm planning on hopefully getting new wheels when these tires wear out so I guess I'll bite the bullet and pick up 5 then.

@Rc23 Migo is that you lol! Nice looking rig - we have good taste. Yeah that Leitner rack I've seen before and looks like da bomb but probably won't set this one up with overland get up. Look forward to seeing it if you get it. Thx for the info on ICS fab.

Thank you @Hoff and @thomasbus337 ! I have the turn signal recall on my 2020 Platinum. Thanks to @2020Platinum for making the youtube video on the simple DIY fix. Dealer can easily and visually see next time I take it in leads are in correct position:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Mv7YaLUx44

From the video "I don't like other people touching my truck unless they have to"... exactly.

It took me about 20 minutes, and I actually did NOT remove grill, headlight assembly, battery or windshield washer reservoir. I have long fingers and only had to hold my breath once when one of the lil rubber grommets fell below the battery but it took a favorable bounce so I could retrieve it easily and reuse it.

I don't have LED retrofit so this gives you good before / after:

NOAXLEWRAPMIGO... Got my SDHQ traction bars installed over the holidays! 100% bolt on / 90% fun install / 10% PITA install as have to wrestle the fuel tank around. After regearing and wanting to take care of that setup, still running the squishy OEM leaf pack and seeing the before/after in SDHQ video finally pulled the trigger. Stainless self-lubricating heims, delrin bushings, bolt-on, low profile/high clearance/high travel, grade 8 bolts, 4130 chromoly bars, oh yeah! I'm noticing no trade-offs in ride quality after adding these. Thanks @sdhq_offroad for the high quality product, responsiveness to some questions I had and the Black Friday sale!

SKIDMIGO...Got the Rago Fabrication A Arm skids on Migo. Thanks @ragofabrication for the well made product! I didn't think about the sway bar end links on my BDS lift causing interference, my bad so hacked the skids up a bit :sawzall:...good enough!. Put the Victory 4x4 rear rear shock skids on as well...interesting how quickly you learn to keep the shock from slipping out of the mount after wresting the 1st one back in lol. Thanks @Victory4x4 for the well made product! Thanks for the Black Friday deals and the Rago and Victory stickers look rad on my hard cooler!

Thanks...looks like we're in the 040 paint club! Non of the pearly nonsense lol. I like your user name - first time I heard that phrase was from an Aussie...translates as "there you have it" or something like that as I recall. Thanks for your service!

COOLMIGO... Transmission cooler installed. Thanks @chasenicholas93 for the kit!

    Kit consists of
Toyota OEM: Thermostat, inlet/outlet soft tubes, hard tubes and hose clamps (essentially bolt-on of the 07-18 cooler components)
Aftermarket: Improved Racing MHX-514 cooler, custom mounting bracket and hardware for Tundra, soft hose and fittings, spacer to leave space for possible super charger cooler.

Painted the cooler with Ecklers Radiator Black.
Replaced ATF WS fluid while cooling circuit was open.
Veepeak OBD2 and OBD Fusion application to assist with fluid level check and monitoring ATF pan temperature.

What’s going on brother? Was wondering how you went about color matching the mirrors and door handles an all? Love my platinum but HATE the gawdy chrome

What's happening bro! Migo's first owner did the good work on taking out the chrome. Door handles he had a friend in Boise, ID that wrapped them..dropped them off and picked up same day. I'm assuming a vinyl /Xpel but will let you know. They match well and so far they are holding up very well. It would be sweet to wrap the whole rig. I've asked him to confirm where he got the color matched mirrors...I'm assuming his local Yota dealer or Sparksparts or something. There's a really good thread about color match parts on the forum somewhere. Platinum decals are plasti dipped. Nice rig white truck's are the fastest lol!

    Thank you for your service.

    Toyota Power Tailgate Lock....
1st Toyota dealer I ordered PK3B6-34JS0 from sent me the non-plug and play kit 00016-34355. Sent that one back and went with a different dealer to get the plug and play kit PK3B6-34JS0. In addition to not having to tap into the wiring, the wiring harness is different and actuator is different. I see people complain the power lock is noisy but this one if fairly quiet IMO. Easy install.

HOWDY MIGO! Was blessed to get to move from Illinois to Texas this year! It was good to see the 5.29's, tranny cooler, Hensley hitch and airbag upgrades making for quite a tow package. The 38gal tank was a plus too. Lots of learning on Tundras.com helped with preparation. Almost went with the Boost tow mirrors but since towing is occasional, went with the clip ons for now. Took some amazing back roads, saw some storms and hot weather. Should've run a GPS log as I'm not sure could find those roads again. Camped and mountain-biked in Bentonville, AR.

Thanks to @TundraTex Migo has the one and only genuine (and made in TX) front-rear-anytime-camera! I really like the OEM style switch available for the FRAC but with the factory switch panel being full and not wanting to have to reach far for it I went with the round switch and put it above the 4x4 control knob. The VIM switch is down on the bottom of the switch panel near the 12v power towards the passenger. I went with the Natika cam from Amazon as recommended. I was pretty certain I was going to snip the camera cable to rid display of parking guides but have found the distance associated with the yellow line useful so may keep it. I will adjust cam mount forward another 1/8" or so to see less of the grill and doing so will push the red guide out a bit.

This will got tons of use! Huge improvement for forward visibility and will be helpful being able to lock rear cam on related to trailering!!!

    A few tips:
    - Don't muscle the cable thru the firewall grommet and break the RCA connector off like I did! Cut grommet enough first as TundraTex outlines in his video.
    - I lost a yellow plastic retainer off of the display to never never land but can buy a small bag off of Amazon
    - Lucked out on VIM switch as I almost put it too low on bottom of switch panel but it still clears the interior panel with the cup holders. It will be rare that it is used but thought it was useful enough to install the switch.
    - I needed to touch up my step bit hole for the round switch, I was using dremel to do so and unfortunately put a small scratch on the dash..in hindsight should've put me some tape around it or just been more careful. Can't really see it in the pic.

Hey brother! Weird you timing, how did you know I was underneath my truck today and actually moving those light bar mounts around lol! I installed Coachbuilder bumper shims todays. Here's a couple of pics where you can see the light bar mounting bracket on the bumper mount studs. This is the driver's side, there is one on the passenger side as well. It's definitely made as Tundra specific brackets. The original owner of the truck installed the light bar and you can see the brackets as part of this kit.

I was worried those brackets would take up too much space for me to get both the bumper shims on, but ended up being enough thread!

WIFE AND I BUMPER-SHIMMED THE MIGO!
"Hey hon I need you to help me with the truck for just a sec".... 45 mins later (she's a trooper) we got the bumper shims on! 37's have a bit more room now...and give more tolerance to allow for the different "personalities" at the alignment rack. Apparently Ekstrom Design can't event make a flat plate without it being a work of art - T6 6061, Coachbuilder logo, chamfered corners, anodized, perfect bolt pattern, etc. - I almost felt bad putting these somewhere so out of site! Thank you @Coachbuilder1 for the high quality product! You had spent time on the phone in 2020 but took me a while to get this ordered. Was really glad there is enough bolt thread on the studs to use both shims for total of 1/2" and have room for the Rough Country led bar brackets (pics above). Before after pics below on the bumper.

Only thing I would've done differently is put couple layers of blue tape on top of the bumper cover as put couple small scratches on it when wrestling it around.

Lmfao worked out perfect! I actually almost pulled the trigger on that kit yesterday, but thought let me give it a little while since I just but the wheels and tires and I’m still waiting on them! Appreciate you bro, as always the truck is getting better and better! Great build

    VALHALLA'D THE MIGO!

    Dear cat-theft scumbags,
When you get under my truck may these plates serve as a massive middle finger.
And then serve as a distraction cause even you hacksawin' cowards can't help but admire the quality and beauty of these!
....and by then my Trunk Monkey gonna jump out....
