I don't believe so, but my memory is shit haha .. I grew up in Eagle River. I work up on the slope still, I am currently up here now. What brought you down to the Mitten?

That's an interesting rack you have on the bed. I was building my own system out of 80/20 but have been nervous to drill the top of the bedsides. That looks like it is attached at the ends, not seeing on Yakima how you have accomplished that. Can you let me know how that attaches?

I was looking for somthing for a while but couldn't find anything that I really liked. Kind of pieced this togethers it works for me.
I used these magnum stake pocket inserts. Then got some aluminum spacer blocks off ebay. I mounted some old bed rails to the aluminum spacers and bought some cross bars off Amazon.
If you have any questions let me know I can take more pics or give some links or parts.

Good afternoon, I recently traded my 2018 Tacoma DCLB in on a 2021 Tundra CrewMax SR-5 OR. Glad to be back in a full size. I don’t see too many Tundras around, but maybe I will now that I’m paying attention.

I grew up in Holly and most of my family is from the Lake Orion/Pontiac area. I haven’t partied in a while, but if I did I imagine it would be something like Will Ferrell in Old School haha!

Hahahaha. Maybe I’ll learn someday, but I have no problem being Will Ferrell.

one day I’ll be up towards Holly/Fenton. Will wait for prices to come down.

I had to stop partying like Will Ferrell once everyone became a camera man. So what I woke up naked driving a cop car, mind your own business.

Any of you fine folks in the Lansing area have extra sound deadening sheets laying around that you’d like to sell?

I have an install to do tomorrow and the plenty that I thought I had and failed to actually check to make sure I had is not enough.

Thank you for the offer! I’m going to see what I can purchase locally in the morning and if I come up empty I will PM you if that works for you. I only need around 6 sheets.

Also.... MI Tundra Owner from Bay City. First Toyota and LOVE it so far! Bunch of "small" mods. Had Katzkins installed last week and really enjoying those. Also last week, installed matte black wind deflectors and MMB box.

Looking great! I have an appointment at the Katskin dealer in Saginaw on the 19th to get my Katskins installed. Is that where you went to get them installed?

Yep, at AIDI. They did a great job with the installation. I did heated option on front seats and it took a full day.
*If you want your old seat covers make sure to tell them when dropped off! I picked up after hours Fri and assumed they'd be in my truck. Fortunately they hadn't tossed them so going to pick them up tomorrow on my way into work.

Couple more pics. I was anticipating more wrinkles the first couple of weeks but they worked them all out.

Good to hear and good to know! I’d be surprised if they actually throw them away. I’ve seen a bunch of take off cloth interiors for sale on FB Marketplace.

Hey there Michigan Tundra owners I'm currently living in Broomfield, Colorado and had a few questions like how are the winter driving conditions and what all do you have to do to prevent your beasts from rusting from all the salt they dump on the roads? I ask because I had a lot of family move to Ludington and would like to possibly move out there to be closer to them
I hear Ann Arbor is nice. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ludington is absolutely beautiful! I did some king salmon and steelhead fishing over there recently (annual trip). The winters are pretty brutal there! I've done both oil based and line-x undercoats on previous vehicles. Imo, if you plan on keeping the truck a while I'd recommend doing the line-x. It is pricey but no touch ups and all around better product.

Ludington and Ann Arbor might as well be on different planets they are so different. That’s one of the nice things about living in Michigan though. You can be in the rat race in Ann Arbor or (insert city) and you can head 2-3 hours “up north” and be in the woods. If you want to live/work in the Ann Arbor area I would suggest looking at the Howell/Brighton area. Nice areas without the city traffic, but close access to anything you need.

The further north you go and the closer you get to the great lakes the more snow you get. It’s a crapshoot in southern Michigan really; some winters a lot of snow and some winters very little. Last year I only broke the tractor out to plow my driveway I think 3 or 4 times all winter.
