My truck had 285/55/20 KOs when I bought it in 2014.
Soft ride until I did the 6112/5160 combo, then it got pretty stiff.
After 40K or so miles I replaced the KOs with 275/60/20 KO2s.
A little taller and little thinner than the stock KOs.
They are more quiet, ride better, and turn easier than the KOs.
But the longer I have them, the louder they get.
Approaching 66K and they still look good, but my next tire with be Cooper AT3 XLT.

I will give the KO and KO2 one thing (knock on wood), I've never had a flat tire with either one.
Also rotating every 5K, I've always had even wear and no balancing issues...

So far ride is very good - it’s an E rated tire so it’s a little more stiff ride but still very smooth and quiet. I test drove a 2020 Silverado Trail Boss with Goodyear Duratracs and wow were they loud! Sounded like I was riding on plastic wheels.

Not enough run time to tell how well they perform on wet roads but I do have a pretty steep blacktop driveway and they didn’t slip where they BFG KO2s would have when it was wet. The KO2s were so bad on wet roads I always had to come off the line at stops very carefully to avoid slipping. I sold my truck that the BFG KO2s were on and I probably would have had to replace them at ~45k miles.

I got a great deal on the Falkens - bought a set of 275/70R18s from Walmart for $760 ($184 ea plus tax), delivered in a day and installed at my local tire shop for $20/tire.

I've got 50k on my original LTX tires on my 2018. I am sure I will get another 10k+ out of these. Will be going to the LTX AT2 next. I LOVE these tires!
