To all MGM (the fastest color around) tundra owners: I'm looking at doing the TUNDRA raised letters on the tailgate but need some input. Since our beloved MGM is so dark, I would love to see pics of yours if you have the black raised letters, chrome,, American flag, or another color. I'm torn between the black ones and the American flag ones. Pics of the full tailgate and from an angle would be much appreciated. I only ask because all I can find are the lighter colored tundra.

I know you didnt ask for the color red, but I thought Id share anyways. The red matches the color of the sway bars and looks great, I think.

    I did red reflective.
The flag wasn't around or I couldn't find it. I think the flag is very cool.

I'm travelling for work at the moment so cant take pic... but I've got the same thing as @jewsNbrews (I think). Actual carbon fiber, about an 1/8" thick. The one's I originally bought weren't as glossy as I'd hope so I added some clear coat before attaching to the tailgate.

That said, I've been considering redoing them in a Barcelona Red Metallic. Same color I painted my front tow hooks and 'TRD' insert on the pro plate.
I think the red contrast on the MGM is sharp!

They were raised letters off Amazon. I honestly couldn’t tell you which, I order a lot of work supplies off there so it’d be a day before I found it.
They are an overlay. Discontinued forever.

I'd say the same. They are not the flat vinyl inserts, about 1/8 ".

I think I got them off Ebay. I got them before I found this site. Matt @DecalsByDesign made me matching bedside TRD Sport decals.

Hmmm. I guess I'm the odd one. Toyota went to the effort to design "Tundra" into the tailgate and I like it.

    I left it alone.

Don't get me wrong, I get their choice but their choice was because "it's cheaper". My nickname may be kameleon but I like to stand out a little bit. ;)

I dont remember the brand of ones I got, but they were also purchased off of Ebay. They are still holding up great, and I dont have a garage to keep from getting weathered. I'd buy them again in the future.
