Per SPC, they’re the same. Only difference is the ball joints. These are the first gen (gold and non-greasable) and second gen (gold and greasable) ball joints. The newest version from SPC are a gray/silver color while the ones from Rock Auto are a goldfish color. You’re not guaranteed to get greasable from rock auto.

Just got my order in today from rock auto. Passenger side had a greasable balljoint, driver side was completely the wrong arm. Correct box, but the arm was the wrong shape, wrong accessories, wrong part number etched on it. Gonna have to do an exchange and hope its all correct, and has a greasable Bj

Got mine in the mail, both had greeseable ball joints. Both boxes looked like they had been opened and one was in a NAPA parts bag. I wonder if they swapped the joints or they went out and came back.

i bet they have had many returns due to mismatching joints based on posts here and other platforms (taco and 4runner having same issue)

Just throwing this out there: you can get some camburg balljoint UCA's from wheelers on a BF deal for about $80 more than these mevotechs on rock auto and not worry about possible mismatched sides. Also they came out to be a little cheaper than JBA's and still cheaper than SPC.

I ordered some also. Right side was greasable, left wasn't. Oh well, won't hurt my feelings.

Autozone sells the latest 25002 balljoints for $122, i might do that. I think it would bother the crap out of me having 2 different balljoints, and having it be clearly visible with my procomp 7” lift. Still comes out to a hell of a deal, and an extra set of ball joints

$439 (mevotech arms) + $132 (balljoints + tax) = $571 for the latest model SPC arms, sounds good to me. Saved a $100 off retail and got extra balljoints

So I was getting ready to install the ones I got from rock auto. Both boxes look like they had been into before. I got two greesable balljoints but they appear to be different, the hardware is also different. The washer doesn't fit snugly in the top of the control arm. I wasn't super pumped about this weld either. I think I'm going to send them back. balljoint.jpgweld.jpg

That’s interesting. Balljoints are essential so i wouldnt put anything on ur truck unless u were 100% confident in it. My SPC balljoints will be arriving on monday.

For some reason they don't have them online for the Tundra but they had them for other platforms. I had called them to place an order.

I was going to mention this as well. Shopping around myself and Camburgs seem a lot cheaper than what I remember them being

I was looking at SDHQ FWIW

big question is the moog ball joint or the updated 1.5 uniball

Not sure what the going rate for Camburgs are, but 4WP has them for $540 after their 10% code: 4WP10

could apply SDHQ BF discount to Fox / other things, but Icon no go and seeming like Camburg not applicable either

So the fella getting the NAPA bag got me curious so I went over to NAPAs site and it looks like their UCAs are SPC as well with the greaseable balljoint. At least that is what the picture shows.
Only difference they are DOUBLE the price at $423 an arm!!!
    https://www.napaonline.com/en/p/NCQ...ol+Arm+-+Front&keywordInput=upper+control+arm

Glad I found this thread. I was leaning towards JBA due to price and was just going to hold my nose with them being fire engine red. But guess I’ll go with these.

Got my Rock Auto "SPC" arms. Both have SPC greaseable ball joints, both are correct left and right. No complaints here other than they price went up just slightly before I pulled the trigger.

Well this deal may be something of the past. I looks like Rock Auto is only stocking one side right now. It doesn't have the other side listed at all, so I'm curious to see if they come back.

However, I'm still glad I jumped on this. They worked perfectly for me, and luckily arrived with all the correct part and without issue.

I wonder why only the one side for so long,
I’ve had an email alert set up to be notified when back in stock, but there is no known timeline

It's up to SPC. Mevotech was selling old SPC stock with non greaseable ball joints and occasionally paired with the newer uca's greaseable ball joints. Might be a long wait.

Think I will be fine on my lift without the uca? I just received the OME 612 lift and gonna install it. So it should be between a 2.5-3 lift in the front.

I will be rocking method 701s with 35" ko2s. Can't wait to get them on.

Anytime you approach 3" it's good to go with aftermarket UCA's. The non adjustable UCA's have 3 degrees of caster built in to make up for the caster you lose especially at 3". The SPC'S are adjustable which is a plus but it all depends on your budget and intended use. There are decent UCA's a bit less in cost and a lot more in cost.
