I have fiberglass fenders so my clearance is going to be a little more extreme than yours.. even with zero offset and spacers, im just barely even with the outer lip of the fender.

The spacers were only for filling out the width of the fenders. I put my stock fenders on last night and pulled the spacers off.. so I'm now running 37s on stock fenders, with zero offset:) it CAN be done

Yep. With the bed rack, I'll be losing alot of side visibility.. I can see all my blind spots.. and tbh.. with the fat 37s.. I really like the way they look

I wonder if that tire is sitting on the inner fender or if the inner has been modified.

I think the engine bay may have been caged? Now I know why he took off the TC kit. I wanna see what happened to the rear. He's been w/o the truck for a long time. I think it was December when I picked up his TC kit.

I think that makes his track 11" wider than stock. 3.5 for the LT and 2 for offset per side.

when i had my tacoma i was in love with these 701's and after getting my tundra they were the first on my list, to find out that the wheel dims are not in our favor or maybe mine specifically is so annoying. if im doing the math right the 0 offset and 4.75'' backspacing is going to make them about 2+'' outside the fender? even if i go with a 285/75/17..33.9x11.3'' tire?

I am not positive of the tires, but the rims will be 2.36” wider.

I just want to make sure we're on the same thought, when you say about 2.36'' wider, youre saying the lip of the wheel will come out 2.36'' more from the hub outwords.

Yes, that is more accurate than me saying "wider". Right now I have 1.25" spacers on my stock rims. I have been thinking about these wheels which would push everything out about another inch.

Yeah and i dont mind a bit poking out but im not trying to have 2''+ of tire sticking out. sucks. 313 it is then probably. im looking for the more flush, tall skinny tire look

Did you have to get flares to account for how much rubber is sticking out?

I do not. They only stick out past the fender by about 1" and that is pretty much the bulge of the tire, not the rim itself.

0 offset means it sticks out further, not in more. So you’re good to go. Does it stick out too much? At 8.5” wide, should stick out 44.5mm more than stock. That’s 1.75”. Might need flares. I’m going with 285/70R17

Why would a tire that sticks out more not clear the shock?
