The owner of my mom’s grocery store just got a white 2023 crewmax. He lifted it and put 35s on it. Man that thing looks sick.

I cannot fathom yelling anything at a driver of any vehicle of any brand or model regardless of my thoughts about said vehicle.

I do laugh to myself when I see vehicles that look ridiculous, usually due to the obscene amount of crap bolted to them, but I’m not going to yell something at the owner.

Maybe they are really proud of it and worked hard to get it where it is.

This thread isn’t about having thick skin, it’s about not being a douche.

I feel relative the same. I deal with the general manager of our local Toyota dealership 3 or 4 times a year for work and I ALWAYS ask him when the V8 will be put back into the Tundra line up ! LOL

I wonder if Toyota ever tried/considered tweaking the 5.7 at any point during the 15 model years it was around.
Or, ever tried mating the new 10 spd to it and seeing how it performed.

The Jeep Community has this thing about "Ducking" vehicles. It always entertained me how some jeep owners get so up in arms about getting ducks and generally hate it.

Recently, They have started "Yoda Ducking" Toyotas in my area. Recently even started asking Toyota owners if they wanted to hang with their club. Of course, Toyota owners are against this idea and vocal about not getting "Yoda Ducked."

The offroad community is a small community and those of us that good conservators of the trails should band together. Why are we all fighting each other?

As a second gen owner of a 2020. I purchased my truck for the v8 and steel body. it was a conscious decision of mine. I dont hate the new gen, I dont vocalize distaste for them. Not my thing. its yo ride and doesnt affect me. if you like it im happy for you.

I haven't had anyone shit talk the truck. Actually, I'm getting a very different reaction. There are still relatively rare in the more rural areas where I spend time so people do ask how it's going. The 2.0 and 2.5 guys love their trucks and seem interested in checking the Tundra out. The two things that resonate are the better interior and the suspension. All are unsure about the v6TT. Fair enough. Interesting reactions from the Ford/GM/RAM guys. Without fail the conversation quickly turns into either a bad experience they have had or that a friend has had with one of the big three. I don't fan the flames or bring up that I had a F150 lemon lawed. I just respond that all current trucks are problematic and I trust Toyota more than anyone else to fix the inevitable problem.
I'm driving mine more than I thought. 4K in 2 months. Zero issues.
