Looking at upgrading the suspension on my 2006 AC sr5. Anyone have any experience with Dobinson suspension?

^^ this is the Kit i'm looking at upgrading to.

These are the leaf springs as-well:

Really just wondering whether or not a kit that says its for a double cab can fit an access cab. I called dobinson and they said it was no issue. Just want to be sure i wasn't getting smoke blown from someone who just wants to make a sale.

Along with the leaf springs/coils/shocks. I'm gonna have around a 2.5in lift. Will i need upper control arms with this build? Was looking at camburgs or total chaos.

Also wondering if theres anything else i'm missing as far as essentials go when lifting a truck. Definitely dont want to create any issues. Want to come correct when i bring this shmorgazborg of parts to my mechanic. Would hate to be missing something. Dont really know feckin shit about lifting a truck so any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

Technically there's no issue. But yes, there's a problem and that person trying to sell you should know it, but it's possible they're not familiar with our trucks. Without knowing the vendor, I can't say.

Please read the "Suspension, wheel and tires ..." section of this post, and if you don't understand the problems after reading, come back here and let us know. It should answer your other question also, and also inform you on other things you're missing, like extended swaybar links.

Hopefully it's clear ... and welcome to the forum. Lots of help to be had getting where you need to know on here.

I was gonna tag @shifty` but he’s already been here.

I can vouch for the total chaos arms, they are nice but do expect some more upkeep being they are a uniball design. You’ve got wash and spray with ptfe lube to keep ‘em quiet.

I’m gonna suggest the spc upper control arms. My reason being the adjustability built into the design is nice if you ever desire you want to run 333 fab or kpo off-road cam eliminator tabs for your alignment. The Kpo’s have some more settings versus the 333 fabs so I’m considering trying them on my truck with the total chaos arms.
