Too good to be true is the reason I wanted advice from the community here in the first place. I have some other listings that look promising also so not all eggs in this basket. When I weed some out I'll post the remaining here again. I will definitely be going over it as thoroughly as I know how, and definitely expect to find some kind of rust.. I'm willing and probably will open up to expanding the search to basically anywhere, geographically, to find rust free.

Is there a good resource someone can point me to that would breakdown what things should be looked at closely? Specifics, timing belt is what mileage? Etc..

Timing belt is 90,000 miles according to Toyota manual. My dealer told me 110,000 miles was fine.Be sure to change the water pump and anti-freeze also with the serpentine belt.check the transmission fluid and differential fluids also.change those if needed.

Roger that. Are 1st gen transmissions "closed" systems like the 2008?

Here are some screen shots of another candidate...
**I am not actually 1 mile away.

Also being in New Hampshire I would expect a level of rust.. everything I look for from here on out will be south, from salt free homes I think...

'05 and '06 have the better 5-spd. automatic. They also have a big jump in hp.

Looks priced well, worth a look. If bed liner is drop-in plastic liner check for bed rust underneath, closer to the cab. This on all year models.
