@eledobleu has been a long-time member and vendor. He's one of 2 trusted members on here for plug and play harnesses for the 2018 headlights for 3rd gens. No problem alerting the mods to check in here, but let's not go sideways. Looks like he's communicating to address concerns.

Dang it!!! All excited for my first group buy and get burned....so has anyone got their money back or started contesting?

 

Hopefully he will come through and get everyone products out that ordered them. He has a long history of having poor customer service, not honoring warranties, and just shady stuff back when he was doing retrofits. I was giving him the benefit of the doubt that maybe things have changed, so I didn't chime in earlier as the last time I did it really got ugly. I sure hope for everyone's sake here that he comes through.

 

Well, that doesn't look the best. I suppose that I'll give the benefit of the doubt as well. If after a bit nothing pans out, I paid via PayPal, I'll file with them. I'd really rather not, but it happens. Most other forums I've been on where items change hands for money, if things don't go well, it's one and done and the player gets banned for life.

 

Last sighting online was roughly 24 hours ago. If I were running an online sale/business, I'd check in regularly, especially if you know there are questions regarding the sale, and or concerns with buyers on it.

That's what notifications are for, meanwhile it's possible that they're spending some time making preparations on getting items sent out. Ultimately time will tell though I suppose.

All orders are being shipped by TRS. Everyone will get their orders with a little patience

Guys the order are shipping directly from TRS. Again this is the first group buy that im not shipping the lights directly. But I have been in constant contact with Nick at TRS who's handling the orders and he assures me that they are shipping. More than half of the orders have already shipped. Some guys who have been complaining about not receiving shipment confirmations have now relieved their shipping info but have not posted that info on here to reassure everyone else. Orders are Delayed by TRS not me. You guys must understand that this group buy I AM NOT MAKING ALOT OF MONEY ON THESE because I am using TRS to ship them. Im only offering this to give discounts to other members. Im barely getting $25 per order on these. Usually I wont ship unil the group buy ends but I thought I ship them on a weekly basis so people dont have to wait a month to receive there order.

 

What exactly did you buy? Fog lights are Morimoto products, Im only a dealer for TRS. If you bought retrofits, anyone on here will tell you that my customer service for retrofits have always been 100% up until I lost my son in July 2018.

 

I have been a Top vendor on here since 2016. Trash talk is unnecessary. This is a community of fellow Tundra owners and you need to respect others. There is no story! If your not participating in the group buy then please do not comment. Everyone who has not received emails have been answered about their order.

 

There are about 50+ orders in queue at the moment. Your order was supposed to ship yesterday but TRS has been backed up as well with their 1000s of orders because of the move. If you dont receive a shipment confirmation on Monday, Let me know so I can contact TRS to get an update on your order.

 

Order recieved, Please allow some time for your order to be shipped as there are a large number of orders at the moment.

THE FOLLOWING ORDERS WAS SHIPPED THURSDAY! if you did not recieve a tracking number in your email send me a message and I will provide tracking. These orders will be delievered today and Monday based on tracking information. Other orders will ship out Monday. New orders will ship out middle of next week.

Fwiw I had a great experiance with my retos, support etc. I have a chain of 20 or so emails with questions (bc I'm a pain in the butt). I'd buy again in a second. Thumbs up @eledobleu

Thanks buddy! Its good to be back but some of the new members don't know me and think its scams not knowing this is the 4th Group Buy I have done for Tundras.com since 2016 and have been providing excellent customer service on the 18 PNP conversion harnesses and Retrofits. Hopefully some of the vet members can clear things up.

I haven't read English like this in a long time. Well said and thank you! Its like If I don't respond right away I'm immediately scamming people. People must understand I am still in recovery from the lost of my son as well as my family so I am not on the forums 24/7. I do check it a few times a day or when I can to update the group buys and answer questions. So everyone PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE IF I DON'T RESPOND IMMEDIATELY!

 

I second this, I was jumping the gun and a little confused. No hard feelings! I would never in my life attempt a group buy to a bunch of guys who want their product yesterday and expect a discount just because their part of a group online...and...I plead guilty to that. Thanks for clearing the air!

 

I read this whole thread and it seems like people are jumping to the gun! Sometimes shit happens in business. This guy has seemingly been incredibly available, transparent, and is answering everyone's questions. I was curious how much he was making (figured it couldnt be more than 10 or 20 bucks each order) and it made me feel bad for him. He has probably worked pretty hard to try and get everyone a deal while making a couple hundred bucks and it backfired because of something apparently out of his control and he has to take all this grief.

 

I did my best.

Good you posted up though; perhaps it reassure those who haven't been on a long time. Also, good to see you back. I'm sorry for your loss.

Who actually received a shipping confirmation?

 

I bought your harness. I’ll be done commenting here but I’ll leave it with I smell a rat. Good luck everyone! Please use a CC sand not a debit card.

 

Give me your order number, name and email in a private message and I'll look up your order history. I'm more than happy to post screenshots of any information (email exchange) about your harness and my "terrible" product. I've always provided replacement harnesses for any harness that was damaged or not working properly (up until I took time off from July 2018 until now) . And if somehow I was giving you bad customer service, I will still post it for everyone to see exactly went wrong on your order for you to have such negative comments.

I have had others contact me about warranty info since I've returned and have taken care of everyone. From retrofits to the harnesses. So please provide the info and I will post any screenshots about your warranty claims and/or my "bad customer service" so everyone can see.

Also note that I no longer sell the plug N play harness or do retrofits. I only offer Morimoto products with TRS's warranty.
