Anyone have a local dealer they recommend in Mass that will honor online dealer prices for OEM parts?
My dealer said the best they will do is match whatever price I can get from other dealers including their shipping costs...so why would I bother dealing with my own dealer and having to go pick up parts when I can just order online and get them shipped directly to my house for the same price?
I’m a little annoyed my dealer that I just bought a 2020 tundra from won’t do more to keep my business for any future parts/accessory orders.
So far the best option I‘ve found is ordering from Boch South and shipping costs aren’t that bad to Western Mass 01027.

    https://toyotaparts.bochtoyotasouth.com/
Any other suggestions for online or western mass dealers that will cut down on shipping costs but still give you the online parts prices?

Did you buy from Lia or Balise?
Ive just ordered online, both Sparks and @Roman seem to beat the local dealerships

I bought from Balise and they basically quoted me full retail cost for a bed mat and the power tailgate kit.
I’ve looked at cool springs Roman but one of the things I’m ordering is a bed mat (heavy and oversized) which is why I’m trying to find the lowest shipping costs.
Boch south looks like it might be the best overall deal factoring in shipping costs.

Try McGee in Dudley. When Toyota ran that anniversary sale they were the only local dealer (ie all of mass) that I could find that was participating and I purchased my trd skid plate and sway bar for a very good price

FYI- I ended up just ordering through Balise when I went in to pick up something else. The best they would do is match the best online price I found including the shipping costs. In retrospect I could have just ordered it online but because one of the items I was buying was a heavy bed mat I was a little worried that the online shipping estimates were low and they were going to hit me with added shipping costs after the order went through.
Ordering through my dealer at least gave me the option to return it easy enough if I didn't like it and overall I ended up saving about $65 doing the online price matching vs normal retail dealer prices.
Now I just have to hope for a mild weather weekend to install that OEM power tailgate lock.

I’ll be going to Boston in a few weeks for a wedding. The wife's family are out there. What are some must do things for your typical tourist trying to soak in all the history? Maybe some good seafood spots? We have a 1 year old with us if that will eliminate some places. Last time I visited Boston was probably 20 years ago.

Freedom trail is always good if you're up for a little walk and the Old North Church is cool to see as well as the USS Constitution (oldest commissioned US warship) and the original State House (site of the Boston massacre). Hard to walk around Boston without running into some sort of historical site! If you're looking for seafood it's all over the place but if you need a bar find the Bell in Hand or Green Dragon (they're right next to each other). Both are old revolution era taverns where we plotted our treason against the crown.

Also if you want to get out of Boston and are interested in history go check out Lexington Battle Green (where the US Revolution started) and the Old North Bridge in Concord (where we sent the Brits running back to Boston). Lexington is about 30 minutes outside of Boston and Concord is another 15 or so.

nice. I think the freedom trail and uss constitution is the list. The Lexington battle green sounds interesting. I’m going to bring that up to my wife. She is from Boston and she wants to go to Salem. Is it worth a day trip to visit some haunted stuff?

Yeah Salem is cool too (especially on Halloween .. it gets crazy). You have the Witch museum, house of seven gables and definitely good seafood! Parking is a bitch though.

cool I look forward to Salem  we love Halloween, I bet it would be fun during that time.

I think some of my wife’s family want to hit up some slopes out there as well. Some snowboarding runs would be fun, if we can find the time.

    Hey Marty
The best way to see Boston with a small child is the trolley tours you can get on and off at different sites plus the tour is pretty informative. If you go to Salem check out the Peabody Essex Museum it’s an art museum if you’re in to that
As far as snowboarding this year has really sucked I would really check conditions before wasting $$$$
Enjoy your time on this side

Or the Duck Boats! Boston is a good walking city though if the weather is cooperating.

Thanks Mike, well look into the trolley tours. My wife and I are into all the art and history museums. We’ll add that to the Salem list

hopefully conditions are not too bad. It can’t be any worse than SoCal conditions. We do runs in T shirts lol

To be honest, I’m hoping it’s warm when we get out there. I’m weenie when it comes snow lol. I think I would die in a Nor’easter lol

Anyone have suspension done by a local shop? I am rethinking my 5100s in the front and maybe going 3/1 Toytec or BDS system to see if I can get a little more plush ride. Would like to find a shop that knows these trucks.

I'm interested in the same but want to do mine in bronze and in NE Mass or Southern NH. Want to find a place that can do it all, unmount tires, powdercoat the wheels and then reinstall tires & balance.

I have a friend who got some powder coating done in the area. I'll ask him where he went.

My father in law had his steelies done about a year ago, I'll ask him where he had it done. I think the place was on Taylor St in Springfield. I know there's a rim repair shop on Union St. in Westfield as well.

I guess anyone can propose a date/time/place and see if others want to join. I'd be up for something in the spring time if others are interested.
