    Hello,
I bought a new Tundra and it came with a solid rear window but I would like a slider for ventilation. Safelite said if it doesn't have one now I can't put one in, the other place was convinced my truck was a crew cab and I already have a power window.

Has anyone swapped a solid rear window to a slider, manual or power?

    Thanks

I don't see why you can't put a manual slide window in. The opening is the same size.

Where are you from? I think I saw one on Craigslist in Pennsylvania.

I don't see why you couldn't. My 2016 SR5 DC had the manual slide window if you wanted to use that as a reference model.

Thanks I'll try again, I got frustrated with the 2nd place arguing with me about what truck I had so I just gave up.

In my research tonight it looks like it gets glued in place vs the old style that had a gasket around it.

My 2019 OR is a double cab with a manual slider. I bet they cost a ton from the dealer new.

That's my guess as well, glad to hear they had manual rear windows just one model year ago. Thanks for the info!

3/1 lift on 20" OZs with KOs, LED fogs, steps and a handle
How secure is that latch on the manual slide? Looks too small for someone to crawl through obviously, but just wondering about what could be accessed from the outside with some renegade effort.
