There has been moose signs out by my folks place, but no one has seen the moose. Same thing trail berries and footprints.

My dad has a few of those already. Pictures of a lot of elk, mule deer and bear on his property. Most of the signs have been on the other side of Gillette Flats and close to Mueller SP.

My friend Marvin, whose place I went up to yesterday, showed me T cam pics last year of a Moose cow with calf. First time on his property. He has a year round spring which attracts all kinds of critters. We are very certain to expect more of the same this Spring!

Dang...forgot I bought these. 60 degree 24 watters I think. Not a big deal but might as well use them too. Guess I need to look for more goodies in my storage unit.

FYI....when wiring up aftermarket led reverse lights.....disconnect battery. Somehow I blew a $1 10A fooking fuse. Display went skitzoid and truck went into limp mode. Seriously???? Thought AIPs finally went bye-bye. Code reader threw 0705...tranny shift sensor. Say what???? Found a post here where the OP had the same issue, except I didn't buy the $200 sensor. The OP took it to the dealer and was the same stupid fuse. Who knew???? Haha....(shit)...

There are some decent ditch light brackets out there but....$60 to $75 plus shipping???? I realized that my CB antenna hood channel mount would be perfect. My Firestik antenna is over 3.5 ft. Antenna barely moves off roading unless I hit a branch. Very beefy rigid stainless steel mounts. So....I just ordered a pair of Firestik hood channel mounts. Easy to adapt. I can place them anywhere along the hood channel and....the wiring will not get pinched. My CB antenna cable is doing just fine after 2+ years with zero chaffing. Free Super Fast White Tundra delivery via Amazon Prime!! $25.18 for the pair!
    [IMG]USA made too!

    Edit....Firestik antenna is 3' 6"....

Well....I tested my theory. Firestik hood mounts work just fine. Utilized my existing Firestik CB hood mount. Ordered a pair. Ditch light mounts for $26! Saved $50. $$$ I can use for something else.....

Simple 18W 60 degree Cree LEDS for now. Might upgrade to 30W. I'm up in the mountains a lot. Anything over 30W is total over kill. Just need something to light up the side of the old mining roads that I play around at.

I swear man, you seem to repurpose stuff and find deals better than anyone. Reminds me of my grandpa. And that is a compliment haha.

Thinking I may buy some ditch light mounts with the next paycheck, maybe even some of those pods from Cali Raised since I don’t need lights as bright as the Death Star’s laser.

The ribeyes ain’t cheap, especially good ones. Though if you’re drinking Coors Light, that stuff is cheap for a reason haha.

Just got Firestik CB hood mounts which in a few minutes (after some vise/bending work) will become my ditch light brackets. Very beefy. less than $25 for the pair. beats paying $75......I think COMiamifan dropped them off but got away so fast i couldn't take a pic. Those white tunnys are fast!!!!!!

Done for now. Just need to wire them up later today. The easy part. The $50 I saved will shave off $50 towards my RCI gas tank skid!

I forgot I bought those lights. Probably 3 years ago. Don't even remember what I paid. I have enough lights now.

Only thing left is to gradually upgrade my LEDs (not my KC's, love them) to Baja Designs. In theory....
