Just talked to Doc. Apparently I had a small hernia too and he fixed that.

Yes. Still waiting on final pathology results. I meet with him next Wed. There should be a nerve bundle that was adjacent to my now removed prostate that will most likely need to be irradiated. I still have some swelling and soreness but the Percocet's are doing their job....heh...heh ( The catheter w/bag thing definitely sucks.)

I'm doing fine Ron. Just tired and sore. I was able to get outside this morning and spray some weed killer on the front yard. I'm sure my doc would love to hear this. (Actually he just may approve as long as I don't over do it.)

I actually got released Thursday afternoon. I was getting around pretty good with no complications so my doc told them to cut me loose. I'm getting wifi setup in my house this afternoon which will make it easier for me to come on here and bug everyone.:annoyed:

Thanks Mike. You can still fly out here. No shortage of folks here to make worth while. I'm doing better each day. Need to lose this pita catheter though.

I'm thinking the way things are going I can finally get to repairing my truck soon. Pretty much have most replacement parts. I'd rather be posting pics about that than this damn cancer issue that's taking up all my time. A appreciate all the good wishes from everyone here. Definitely good people here. Won't forget it either. All is good.........:headbang:

Catheter is out as of yesterday. Don't ask if removal was fun. :censored:. Got final pathology results yesterday too. Went from Gleason stage 7 to a Gleason 9. Very aggressive. Got into some lymph nodes. Over the next 6 months I'll be getting hormone, radiation, and chemo. Doc said the cancer won't kill me but I need to have this treatment regimen to make it so. Think I'm going to get me a decent local craft brew 6er. Doc won't let me go back to work until June 1st.

Strange thing you posted today Matt. I just got word a friend of mine was just diagnosed with stage 4 tonsil cancer. I was sharing some of my chemo experiences and what to expect. I got off the phone with him and immediately wondered how you were doing. Sorry to hear the news about more procedures. We are all guilty having our minds wander when we get the "C" news, just don't research to much, cuz you can't believe everything you read. I have never met you, (but hope to one day) and I think everyone on this awesome forum will be backing you through these tough times. It is going to be a rocky road ahead, but the sooner you beat this battle, the sooner the Tundra mods begin again. Hang in there my friend !

This hot looking nurse prepped me. "Loosen your butt cheeks if you can and grip the side of the bed." Pretty much was YANK after that. I was trying to forget about that wonderful experience Mike. Last thing the nurse said.... "Gee no wonder it was so hard to pull out.....Look at all the crud on the end." (How do you moderate this?) Sheesh..........................:notsure::ohsnap:

Chainsaw would have been better. Just sayin. 1 hour of Rosie O'Donnell bitching at me would have been better. A Prius owner trying to convince me to buy one could have worked. That bad...............

Thanks guys^^^^^^. I'm at the lab now. Thought I'd stop by to see how messed up my RF workstation was. Surprisingly the new tech is as anal as I am about keeping it organized. ( He's a fellow Jar head. Not surprised he knows what he is doing...heh...heh)
