Although more greenbacks are good. I'm always for GI's getting a decent pay raise every year. (more time off would be just as good)

Agreed, more money is always good but I didn't come in expecting to make a lot of money I actually left a real high paying job to come in. Just want to serve my country for 20+ yrs and say I did my part.

My Dodgers are in town. Amazing how many Dodger fans show up to COORs Field. Got tics for tomorrow and Sunday. Kershaw threw an eephus pitch the other day. First time since 1946. Google it if you give a rat's behind. Vin Scully is still the Dodger announcer. Been announcing Dodger games before I was born , and I'm 60. Still lucid, knows all the opposing players names and stats. (Unlike Harry Carey who rarely could pronounce Cubs player names sober) Bring it on Cubbie fans!! After all you are used to losing!!

My Stampede Fender flares arrive "end of day" Weds. Apparently Stampede is now making carbon fiber "look" vent visors and bug deflectors. Not too many pics out there. I love my AVS' but for those of you that have been procrastinating whether to get vent visors/bug shield, and love the carbon fiber look,..... Call Stampede.

By the way........I just left Coors Field. Dodgers hung on 12-10. Rockies have no bull pen. Going to be a long season again for Rockies fans.

The difference between these Ruff Riderz and Bushwackers is that you actually have to take maybe 10 minutes to drill out 5/16" holes for the decorative stainless bolts and put them on, and then hand apply the edge trim which may take another 10 to 15 minutes. These are attached exactly the same as the Bushwackers, but $277 cheaper. Made in USA. I'm tempted to not drill and install the fake bolts. I'm really looking for the pocket flares with 2.5 coverage" without the fake bolts. Don't really need to add more bling look. What do you guys think???

Spraying the bolts black is a good idea. Not big on adding more chrome either

Well............ Just added some chrome bling and I like it. If you have ever been to Soldotna, AK on the Kenai River/ Russian River convergence and do any combat salmon fishing then you know what this means.

I don't mind a little chrome bling. Plasti dip is cool, but if you ever take your truck out to where you can get freebie scratches/pin striping, why bother???

I plan on getting a rear winch bumper w/winch, which will eliminate that rear chrome problem. I will probably at some point temporarily remove my Ranch Hand grille and get the front bumper Line X'd or something. I don't mind some bling chrome on my tailgate. This is my last truck. Might as well do something more permanent that spray on rubber paint.

I like the surfboard padding on the bumper idea! used that on my race bike. Didn't even think about using it on the truck till now. Can we be twins? :boink::oldglory:

Made by Reese and found at Wally Mart although Harbor Freight has decent knock offs.

Found out that Lund Int'l Bought Bushwacker 1/2015, Bushwacker acquired the Stampede brand back in 2012. And don't forget Lund /AVS. Kind of like shocks. Almost all major shock mfrs are owned by Tenneco:http://www.tenneco.com/our_brands/

Well........I got my Ruff Riderz today. Went fairly well except for one minor glitch....My Body Armors are interfering with front flares. I need to get out my Dremel and we are getting shitty weather starting tomorrow. My Tundra will have to look a little stupid until we get some more sun.

Modding the mod. Not too big a deal. I don't need trim much. It's just that the weather is not going to cooperate the next few days. Hopefully I may get some time after work to work on it before it starts raining/snowing. Crazy CO weather. Probably be 80 in a few days.

Piece of pie. Used my trusty Swiss knife serrated blade. I have a lot of knives. Too many. (not really) Took maybe 5 minutes to trim. Good to go. Weather helped a little.

Yeah, I'm pretty pleased how they look. I had to buy four additional 10mm screws. They provided 6. Requires 10. Ace is real close. 77 cents a piece.
