And people wonder why cops kick the shit out of criminals. People think they can do whatever the hell they want, put hundreds of people, your wives and children, at risk and the cry like little bitches when they get roughed up. I'm not for brutality, but if you don't have any respect for people or the ones that keep people safe, you probably deserve more than what they dish out when you're caught.

From a pro law enforcement stand point I can go on a rant about these low life, fuck heads, but I won't. I'm just glad I do my civil duty and assist the guys in uniform every willing chance I get.

I am with you on the guy is a waste of skin but way to many other lives being crossed in that video for the cops to give that much of a chase.... Poor judgment by all I think.

Really just depends on the crime committed. Most will always terminate pursuit (call it off, and turn around and proceed the opposite direction)
If he had just committed a violent crime, felony in nature- some will pursue and attempt to end it with a PIT (If applicable, and most have to be 40mph and under)
However, some state agencies will chase you for anything...it's usually up to the commander on duty whether to continue pursuing said subject, or to call it off based off of traffic, general safety, and weather conditions.

Your right, they should have shot his tires out on that country road... but then there's the lawsuit that would follow.

Wow! Got to admit that this got my blood racing as well. I agree with the sentiments that the idiot would probably be the first to say that he was roughed up when they finally got him stopped. We don't pay our law enforcement folks enough.......
