Hi guys I have a 2015 tss tundra 4x4 in artic white. I know the running gag is that the black and white trucks are storm troopers. However my wife and I are a couple of sci fi fans and as such we were actually thinking of making a starr wars storm trooper tribute out of my truck. Can anyone share some mod items that might help us on our quest, If there are specific products you would suggest a link to a retailer would be helpful.
My List so far includes the following.
    1. Sport bed bar and lighting (still deciding)
    2. bull bar or full grill guard havent found the right one yet.
    3. plasti dipped chrome imperial emblem badge mounted on tail gate
    4. The empire cares not for your stick figure family decal on back glass
    5. red and white imperial logo decals for the doors
    6. Red Led undercarriage lighting
    7. Red led interior knee lights
    8. Black tundra letter inserts
    9. E11 blaster mount with blaster (think cop car shot gun mount.
Any comments tips or suggestions welcome.

There’s a Batman themed build on here with custom lighting and decals inside and out that might generate some inspiration. I will try to find it and post a link.

Welcome! Big Star Wars fan myself. The trailer hitch cover I have would work great for you. I also have Boba Fett decals on both Tundras. Also you can see the Stormtrooper crossbones decal on my detailing cabinet. That would look cool on your back window.

For a sport bed bar I have been considering the GoRhino bars (2.0 or 3.0) (I have to add flashing beacon lights for when I go to construction sites along busy roads) Anyways, these bars have side panels that I think you can easily have a replacement plate made if you can find someone who does CNC work, and incorporate some Start Wars logo in it. That will be very custom and unique to your truck only. Maybe some LED lit plexiglass panels behind the cut-outs in the steel panels.

Man, that’s been the subject of debate here a good bit. The main brand for those is Winjet. I ordered those, and they weren’t close to fitting. I returned them, and Amazon had the same light under the Autosaver brand. They fit just fine, and certainly felt like better quality than the Winjet. Reviews were much better also. I’ve had them in about a year and a half with no issues at all.

A lot f people had issues with the Winjet brand, and someone from that company actually joined here and promised to make improvements. Then he never came back and quit responding.

Unfortunately, the Autosaver seems to have been taken off the market. Amazon has some used, but no one else can find them. I suspect that Winjet sued them or something. Especially since I brought them up in the thread and talked about how much better they are. Seems like a case where the knock off was better.

Was thinking the truck needs a little more black. Which do y'all think lends more to the stormtrooper look?

Matte black vinyl the roof. If you want something up front, the caving area on the hood is good. I'd paint the front bumper to match the body then tint the fog lights. Not a fan of painting the grill or the hood budge myself

Not sure I would mess with the color in those spots. TRD Pro Headlights and fogs would look good. Maybe a vinyl overlay on the hood, and some graphics on the side.

So I've added a couple of things for personalizing and some nessecities. Added some black all weather floor liners (pricey but worth every penny), added red led knee lights found at Walmart for like 20 bucks which looks real nice and adds much needed floor lighting without killing your vision like the map lights do, added a 12 inch red imperial cog to the back window and I've added the deck railing system. Now I've paused thing function vs looks and I've considered going with a bed cover or bed cover tool box combo for function instead of the roll bar and lights. Anybody got any suggestions for a cover or toolbox or combos?
