    Ok, I'm going to do some community service here... for an incredibly irritating issue. I use synth oil and will change between 8-10k miles, so getting a maint required light at 5k miles is super annoying to say the least.

    I wasn't sure if I could do anything about this, so I stopped here. The comment above about the owners manual was helpful, but it's a bit vague so I'll help out.

    My 2016. Turn on ignition and set trip meter to the A position and reset to zero. Turn off the engine. Hold the trip meter button down as you turn the ignition on, but NOT starting the truck...this last part was getting me and it would not work if I fully turned the ignition and started the car. You simply are putting the truck into electric operation. The dash/steering wheel monitor then tells you it is resetting.

    Hooray, now that ordeal is finally over, and now I'll actually use the nice maintenance schedule app on my Entune system! I'll go out there now and start to program it...
