Yep, okies have constitutional carry now. You couldn't use that rig in Texas if you're not a CCW. Non CCW has to be concealed. I'm using the magnet in my console safe

There are several different versions that are rubber coated and use adhesive to mount. My F250 has never shake my G17 loose in 6 yrs. I'll get a link for the ones I use when I'm not at work.

I know you just supplied the link, my comment is not directed at you. EDIT: Link didn't come with quote, hmm

That mount is as dumb as a box of rocks, why would you carry with nothing in the chamber.

I have already thought it out and it should work ok. This helped installing 4.88s

Just a update on the bracket, used the first one as a template and added 2" to it along with stiffen it up a bit. It's all done and painted but won't be able to install for a few days.

Would be kind hard to say if it will completely clear the airbag. The bag is located lower center of steering wheel and I have changed out a few airbags in the past but not on a Tundra. I will ask my brother if he has done a Tundra knee bag or one of his coworkers has.

If I had more time I did find the perfect position for the Phantom quick draw, it would bring it up another 4" and would for sure clear any airbag concerns.

I did make some time to do a 2.0 version and is in a perfect location, the only thing I'm concerned about is the long term reliability of the velcro.

ZPMAN...IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR VELCRO YOU MIGHT LOOK INTO USING ''Dual Lock'' made by 3M. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Genuine-...0VcuynU1cNCt5_cE1e-66f7jfCgDiidRoCXt8QAvD_BwE
Hope above link to Dual Lock at Walmart works. They also sell it at hardware stores like Lowes and Home Depot, Auto Parts stores etc. I use to sell it for attaching custom headlight covers on cars and trucks. I compare the stuff to those hair brushes that have a little ball on the end of each bristle . It's not like a hook & loop...both sides are the same , when you push them together the balls push past each other and lock together. They make it in different strengths...the more little stems with the balls on the end the harder it is to pull them apart. You can even mix it up by putting Dual Lock with more balls on one side and one with less on the other side. Before you peal and stick any double face tape to any think the last thing you want to clean the surface with is denatured alcohol and try to keep from touching the sticky side because the oil off of your fingers with weaken the hold. And do not test it for 24 hours because it takes that long for a good bond to set up...and needs to be 60 degrees or warmer. Sorry this is so long...hope it helps.
