To add to this, the dealership I've been working with told me last night - "All Lunar Rock models that are in stock or in transit are listed NOT available." There are like 40+ headed to my market between now and the end of the year, so a little hard to believe they are all already spoken for, but I'm not interested in competing with that nonsense.

I had that issue even in just finding a specifically colored limited (cement). I think with the limited availability right now, a lot of trucks are being sold/reserved sight unseen.

Yup - what I was trying to do as well. I was going to put a deposit on a Lunar Rock that was still like 4-5 weeks out. If that's happening across trim levels, I probably should just wait until the Spring once things have stabilized. It is crazy to me how $50-60K trucks just fly off lots like they're giving them away.

It's also the used car market being red hot, I've been thinking getting a Tundra for a year, after test driving a Pro and loved the way it drives, but at that time I went with a Rebel cause the incentives from work and the manufacturer, it being almost 16k CAD cheaper, quickly forwarded to last month, the trade for my Rebel is the same as when I paid for new, it was no brainer and made the call to switch, so now just waiting for the truck to arrive next week, it has been a very long 4 weeks so far.

For those who are awaiting delivery, when I ordered my WRX in 2017 I was told 8 weeks was likely and maybe longer. Cannot remember now if it was 10 or 12 weeks before it arrived at the dealer. That was pre shut down and everything was flowing smooth, so I would expect a minimum of a 12 week wait under the current conditions. It sucks, but it is what it is.

Barely had mine 3 weeks and took it to the desert to get it nice and dirty. Lunar rock and Utah rock look real good together.

Really wanted to like lunar rock but in the end I couldn’t convince myself. Ended up going with MGM.
