Octane booster in every tank with free gas is way cheaper than paying for the tank.

Got tint done and really happy with the results. Now just waiting on sliders. Hopefully they'll be here by the end of the month

    YWoSIDK - Imgur.jpg 8kKKjPc - Imgur.jpg

Maybe see if you can pay for the difference? or see if you can expense your gas at the 87 equivalent price?

    Congrats to both!

Also, if anyone is looking for a LR PRO Crewmax out of the Oregon coast at MSRP let me know and I can forward you the sales guys info. Truck is being built mid September, with delivery in October. I was planning to sell mine and keep some money and buy a new one but it's too much of a hassle for me right now.

Yeah, I had them swapped over from the stock wheels. I didn't want a light on dash

Thanks. It looks like you have the aluminum collar tpms sensors. If so, it looks like Toyota did a mid-year substitution for tpms sensors. Mine don't have the aluminum collar nut.

Just looked at the picture you posted and yeah they're different for sure. I didn't realized you asked for pictures, let me know if you still need them and I can grab a few later today.

Montana is on my short list. Also, the idea of any of my kids driving my truck freaks me out!! My oldest has several years to go yet though.

Yeah, I had to learn to get over it. She’sa good driver - the only thing that bugs me is getting my seat back into the right position when she’s done (she’s 5’-1”)

About once a week I get a “dirty sensor” but it usually goes away within a few minutes. I’m convinced the bar is right at the cusp of where the sensor reads. It’s been great on road trips

Ours killed our trusty Camry, that I couldn't kill while using it as a beater for 5 years, so she's staying away from this vehicle.

Nice! can't wait to see them. I want a matching spare so I've been thinking of going with XT's but I like the concave face too much.

75% windshield, 20% everywhere else (didn't do the sunroof since I always have it covered unless it's open).

Haha my girlfriend took my truck to her dentist appointment last week since her car was at the dealership, and I can't remember the last time I was that nervous/anxious lol

Looks Awesome!!!! Did they take good care of you??? I hope so, getting my daughter's new Civic Hatchback tinted next week by them. Guess we thought her Bday was special! She will never drive my truck, I don't care that she's 22.

Just got her back after detail and Ceramic Pro application. She's pretty with that liquid glass look. I'm loving the shell by the way!

Yeah, they were great. Travis was really cool and helpful. Showed me samples and all. Overall very happy. Thanks for the recommendation.

DAMN! that looks good. I've been seriously considering ceramic/ppf on my truck. I can't seem to get keep watersports off the paint.

If you do decide to go with it, I'm extremely happy with Joab Flores with Platinum Plus Mobile Detailing in Costa Mesa. Dude was all over the customer service aspect of the trade. Dropped it off in AM and had it back by 15:00 the next day! Stellar reviews and stellar delivery of services to me so far - couldn't be happier. In general I'm pretty picky about my stuff and the truck looks fantastic up close and with nitty gritty detail. I have PPF on my other cars and it was super pricey. For the truck I felt the paint deserved a little TLC since the color and quantity of Tundras for the final year of the V8 were so rare. Good luck!

What's a good price for that Ceramic application? I'm planning on it for my LR TRD Pro I'm getting delivered in a few weeks and after my wife managed to get some road paint splattered on the hood of her new VW Atlas we're going to get it done on hers too for better protection. Word on the street is it's a twice annual application?

A truck is about $1500-2500 depends where you are, and one application is good for 2-3 years, sometimes longer depends on the environment.

Interesting - the detail shop/guy quoted us at $150 for the Atlas and said it'd be good for 6 months. I suppose it all comes down to quality of product?

Well, I can tell you that's not REAL ceramic coating, he's probably just detailing it and put some ceramic coating spray that you can get at NAPA for $10.

I have a 3oz bottle C Quartz from Car Pro and that was almost $150 already, that only covered 2 cars.

To apply, you need to wash it throughly, remove all the iron, clay bar, paint correction/polish, then apply the ceramic coat, it took me well over 14hrs for the 4runner so I can't imagine what $150 consists of.

Shop around and pay attention to feedbacks, if you want, you can DIY, these things really aren't rocket science, just takes a lot of time.

This was right after I finished it last Summer:

Here it is now, you still have to wash it but it makes keeping clean much easier.
