I love road trips.... been doing it for 40 years for work...never gets old getting off the interstate and going the long route.

 

That's pretty much what I want as well, it almost sound empty at times, would be nice to know a way to go without DSR1 since its out of stock everywhere.

 

Pretty sure I saw this bad boy in your driveway early this morning. Not to sound too creepy, couldn't help noticing the Lunar Rock!

has anyone removed their small hood scoop on a lunar rock hood? Was hoping to see a picture without it. It seems a hit extra now that ive stared at the truck for a few days.

 

You’d have holes left behind if you removed it. Or you’d have to trade someone and get it paint matched.

Adventure day. Forgot to get a picture of the truck until we were almost home. I was really tempted to get a flag and permit and drive out on the sand dunes at Winchester bay. I need a few more mods before I’m ready for that though. Got my blackout kit and under seat storage to do this week for a start.

 

Just found out that the LR Pro Tundra my wife saw the other day in our little town is actually the son in law of our neighbor (we’re on a private road about 7 miles in the hills out of town). I was mowing at the bottom of my driveway and he came driving by. Small world…I told my neighbor to tell him to come check out Tundras, but who knows…

 

Just put on my LunaRock today about 500 miles. Road trip to Outerbanks NC. The wife and I really enjoyed the road trip with it. Awesome drive here.

 

Love the OBX! I worked there for a few summers teaching kayaking and surfing, a gem of the east coast for sure! Enjoy the trip!

For good eats, check out Blue Moon Beach Grill, Food Dudes, and/or OBX Brewing Station...also Front Porch for coffee. If you wanna get in some kayaks head to Stoke Dispensary/Kitty Hawk Kayak and Surf School for guided tours or rentals. That's where I used to work, great people there! I'm not sure how familiar you are with OBX, but those spots always served me well! Enjoy Don!

Two TRD Pros in Woodland, CA.

 

5 days in OBX and so far I seen 1 AG Pro, 1 Black, no LunaRock, 1 White.

 

There's one big bonus about Lunar Rock, dust don't really show, the fire service roads are very dusty right now, few weeks ago it was 3ft of mud, now its just dry clay.

 

I agree about the LunaRock color. Mine still don’t look bad after doing a 8 hr road trip and hitting rain.

 

Waited 8 weeks and drove 6 n half hrs to pick it up. Lifelong Chevy guy made the switch. I'll be a little too busy at work to do what I need to do to it for the next few weeks. It arrived a week early as well. So just jumped on the road and brought it home ASAP. 888 Kms so far since Saturday.

 

Things I've got in the pipeline...tint hopefully this week, line-x in a couple of weeks, retrax bed cover and I just ordered the OEM Audio plus JBL enhancement kit. The sound system is just so bad I couldn't wait and pulled the trigger on it. Gunna do the install myself, hopefully, it goes smooth!

Finally joined the club today. This is a poser shot behind the hotel in Jamestown North Dakota. Put 350 miles on her already. Drives real nice. Had to show her some dirt. Tomorrow we’ll do another 500+.
